Topics for MSc Computer science final research?

I am currently undertaking a computer science MSc and have been trying to find topics of study for my final research dissertation which would be interesting.

I was thinking about a few topics but find it hard to solve within 6 months of time. I am interested in cloud computing can you give me an idea to select a topic? It could be anything related to computer science.

Once I've chosen the topic, do I need to go for implementation or writing about my findings about the topic is sufficient?

I am currently undertaking a computer science with cyber security MSc and have been trying to find topics of study for the independent research project which would be interesting to me and I am struggling and am looking for a pointer in the right direction.

I would like to undertake something that is in some way practical in nature to keep it interesting, and the topic has to include some elements of security.

My interests through work are mainly developing serverless applications on AWS and event driven applications and cloud computing but I am really struggling to find something that is both interesting and isn't purely research based and theoretical.

Any pointers would be gratefully received, I still have another four months until I need to write the project proposal but I have already been trying to find something that sparks my interest for the last month or two with little success.

I want to know the how we can adopt the cloud platform to the PLM and what are the challenges and limitation in Cloud based PLM?

"Constrained hexahedral mesh generation" refers to solving the internal high-quality pure hexahedral mesh given the surface quadrilateral mesh.

This issue has been studied for decades, but remains open. Related algorithms include sweep method, octree method, polycube method and so on. In recent years, the research on hexahedral mesh generation based on dual topology is very hot, but I think it cannot handle complex 3D geometry.

How long do you think the hexahedral grid generation algorithm can be perfected and achieve good results in industrial software? And, can AI play a role in this issue?

My research work is primarily on computer vision and character recognition. The paper that I am currently working on is focused on dataset creation. It would be great if someone can suggest good journals in the domain, preferably with a focus on image data and datasets. A quick search on the internet provides several results, but the publication fees seem to be really high. Requesting the community's thoughts and opinions on this.

P.S. - Publication charges below 150 USD is what I consider affordable.
