From where can I obtain the list of journals provided with impact factor by thomson reuters as a donloadable file or simply online view. I tried it from thomson reuter website. However the website asks for some specific institutional login. Any help?

I do not understand fully the question you asked. But I know that once a journal is indexed in Clarivates Journal Database, they remain there and once you search for it, you shall get it. Unless it had been delisted from the database, then it cannot be seen there.

The Web of Science (WOS) abstract database is one of the largest world resources for citation, indexing, and analysis of citation of most diverse scientific works in all possible scientific fields of activity. This database created by Thomson Reuters company regularly indexes thousands of various scientific journals and periodicals, that’s exactly why many specialists and researchers give preference to it when developing new materials or for the purpose of improvement in their qualification.

Since this question is asked awhile ago, quite a lot has changed. Thomson Reuter is no longer the owner of Web of Science. Clarivate is now publishing the databases of SCIE/SSCI (for the journals with an impact factor) and ESCI (for the journals eligible for an impact factor). You can check as indicated by https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Md-Habib-3 whether a journal is indexed in one of these databases here: https://mjl.clarivate.com/home
The journal “RUPKATHA JOURNAL ON INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES IN HUMANITIES” (http://rupkatha.com/ ) is indexed in ESCI, so Vidhya Kulothungan no impact factor (yet). It is indexed in Scopus (https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100201709).
The journal “PROCEEDINGS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES INDIA SECTION B-BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES” (https://www.springer.com/journal/40011) is not indexed in ESCI or SCIE so Arghya Mani no impact factor. It is indexed in Scopus (https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19900193617). Dear Kariyanna B. keep in mind what you find regarding impact factor on the site https://www.resurchify.com/all_ranking_details_2.php?id=16075 is based on Scopus data, I quote “SCImago Journal Rank is an indicator, which measures the scientific influence of journals. It considers the number of citations received by a journal and the importance of the journals from where these citations come. SJR acts as an alternative to the Journal Impact Factor”.
Abhijit Khadatkar please find enclosed the latest SCIE based impact factor list and ESCI list.
Best regards.

Thompson Reuters had been bought by Clarivates, and so all dealings concerning such database can be accessed at Clarivates website. Simply log onto the site - https://mjl.clarivate.com/home and enter the journal name of interest to confirm if it is in the database. Otherwise getting all the journals in Clarivates database as a pdf will be too bulky and clumsy. Kind regards.

Paul Chibuike Okoli , simply open Clarivates Master Journal Lists and search for Journals in Social Sciences. Remember, Thompson Reuters had been bought over by Clarivates, hence the change in name to Clarivates.
Good luck.

The "impact factor" – a quantity increasingly used by academic journals to show how widely cited their papers are – is becoming an ever poorer measure of real scientific quality.
