Suggest chemical control of Cyperus rotundus weed in green gram (Vigna radiata) ?

Dear Mehar Chand , you can use lactofen or conquest @ 750ml per ha between the rows of green gram and make sure spray not fall on the main crop. S-metachlor can also be used as pre-emergence @ 2000 ml per ha. Or after harvesting the previous crop you can irrigate the field and plough and plank it once and left it fallow and allow cyperus to grow and then after 25-30 days kill it by using Glyphosate @ 4-5 liter per ha and maintain good moisture level for 2 weeks it will kill the cyperus with its from your field and is considered the best method before sowing the green gram.
