Online B2B travel solution systems in Travel Industry?
Dear Experts and Members,
I am looking for the research work conducted on online B2B travel solution systems. Besides I need input on how Diffusion of Innovation and Adoption of Innovation can be used in a research intended on the above mentioned topic. Firstly, in this study I am looking forward to examine how an online B2B travel solution system organization diffuses this solution system to the travel agencies; secondly how the travel agencies adopt these solution systems. Would need suggestions on the theories, models, and frameworks that could be used to examine diffusion of innovation and adoption of innovation.
I look forward to your opinions and feedback. In case if you need further clarity regarding my query please feel free to ask.
Thank you Michael Neubert for your recommendations. I would surely look into them. Amadeus, Travelport and Sabre serve to be the travel content providers for IT soultion systems. What I am looking forward to is that how and why a travel agent would prefer such IT solution systems to have access to different providers. That is why I want to study both the diffusion of innovation and especially the adoption of innovation.
