Which one should come first in a quantitative research paper - literature review or theoretical framework? Is a particular order compulsory?

I am writing a paper from a quantitative study, which I carried out. I have the literature review, concepts and theoretical framework. But, I discovered that having my literature review before the framework does not really flow. My literature and the concepts emanate from the theory, which I feel may not be the norm.

So, please advise if there is a particular order that must be followed or not.

Can someone please better inform me about the correct methodology to use when conducting a literature based dissertation?

My dissertation is solely based on existing literature.

I aim to review existing literature and then implement a conceptual framework to improve/solve the problem.

The topic is Diversity and inclusion in UK construction: The Representation of BAME.

The idea is to review statistics, analyse what industry leaders and bodies are doing to improve the level of BAME, see what best practises are to then put forward a structured framework.

My issue is, i am not sure what to do for the methodology section.

All help and suggestions will be kindly appreciated.

Hi,

My dissertation supervisor has told me I need to split my literature review into two sections, concepts and data analysis - I've looked all over for a way to do so, examples of this and even asked him, yet I still don't understand.

I am looking into the effect of non-financial reward on the motivation of employees within the UK's financial sector.

Can anyone please help or point me in the right direction?

By grey system theory I mean the one defined by Deng Julong in 1982. 'As far as

information is concerned, the systems which lack information, such as structure message, operation mechanism and behaviour document, are referred to as Grey Systems.', Deong Julong.

A lot of research in grey system theory has been done since 1982. There are books and articles, but performing all the calculations manually is not effective, especially when some changes have to be introduced repeatedly.

The large document has around 400 citations and it is in two sections. The first half is with Mendeley and the second half is with Endnote.

Can I somehow take one of these halves and convert them Mendeley↔Endnote?

Please please don't tell me I need to do it all manually

There are instructions here on how I can import my library from mendeley into endnote. I can do that, but will this work to switch an entire document from mendeley into endnote?
