do you mean insurance also for those in small sector / cottage industry/ small self employed entrepreneurs who have taken credit from various agencies? Can they get micro-insurance? What about self-help groups?

Would such a thing as micro-credits and micro-insurance be possible in flight training to off-load some of the liability from the schools themselves? I am wondering because I think that it is possible to get people to commit to higher levels of preliminary training to insure a reduction in landing mishaps that increase the cost of maintenance and insurance in flight schools.

I'm not certain that such a specific application of micro-insurance has been developed so far but is probably worth exploring. You might want to check out http://www.microinsurancecentre.org that offers interesting links to new product developments.

Thank you. I am new to the idea myself, but I have to wonder if it won't be necessary to some extent for some markets as people push into the pilot community--of course the demand for pilots will be very high within a few years, so that will be a factor as to whether it is considered a viable idea or not.
