Is there a comparative evaluation of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Therapies, comparing effects on Anxiety and Depression?
E.g. what would be the main stressors targeted in depression?
Most recent answer
After recently doing research on the subject of MBSR I found this systematic review of randomized controlled studies very helpful in gaining an overview.

I am not sure if I exactly understood your question. But in general, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction is directed toward stress reduction, while Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can control depression.

It is difficult to envision how those two states could validly be differentiated, as they are so closely related and difficult to clearly ascertain by self-report. The interventions of Mindfulness and CBT imaginal procedures are also closely related, and by inference, both would have some effect on both anxiety and depression.
