Is LAP (LAMBERT Academic Publishing) is an authentic publisher?
I am receiving emails to publish my already published paper or other material related to that paper free of cost to LAMBERT Academic publishing where it will be sold worldwide. I don't know if it is authentic or not? and if It is, would it be beneficial to me? Anyone having an idea about this?

I think that no one needs to publish any scientific research articles by this way where there's no reviewer .it just predatory publishers

Also, you note they want to pilublish your "...already published paper." Do you mean a thesis or are you talking about something already published in another journal? If already published in another journal, they may not allow further publication. For one thing, could you be sued?

Lambert Academic Publishing is a scam. Lambert Academic Publishing (LAP) is a company that spams scholars who have published theses offering to republish them as books. Lambert Academic Publishing is an example of a predatory publisher that frequently contact researchers and students. Sterne described the way they do business as follows:
"They [Lambert] claim your intellectual property and publish it without proper peer review or academic editorial process, which means that they have just devalued your thesis that You might otherwise have revised, improved, and published in a more appropriate scholarly outlet (in whole or in part). This is no small thing, as your thesis is the cornerstone of the next few years of your academic career."

Why is Lambert Academic Publishing not listed in Beall’s list?
Well a bit complicated: LAP is an imprint of VDM Publishing, which is headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany. Omniscriptum Publishing Group, formerly known as VDM Verlag Dr. Müller, is a German publishing group headquartered in Riga, Latvia, with offices in Latvia, Mauritius, and Moldova. It is not a publisher of (open access) journals so it is not included in the list of predatory publishers (simply out of scope). I believe it is a predatory publisher that will publish anything without even editing for major language issues (this is true even for books). I have seen a few books on Amazon.com published by Lambert Academic Publishers. I was astonished by the lack of any meaningful description about the books. Only a short paragraph on the back cover full of language problems and vague statements.

I ventured in to the academic world( of publications and research) few months back and managed to get few papers published in decent peer-reviewed journals. I received quite a few emails requesting submission of articles, by Journals which bore the name' International'. When searched in beall' s updated list, all were listed unsurprisingly. This is the same (which i also was invited for a 1000 word monograph!!!). Reputed journals do not scout for authors or material to publish. Almost always, if oterwise, it is a scam or a predatory!

I have been receiving same request from LAMBERT ACADEMIC PUBLISHERS, LAP, as well of resent. Although in my correspondence with them, I've asked them to first contact the CHIEF EDITOR of the journal of those articles first. I believe the chief editor will further contact me if necessary.

Hello and greetings. A publishing company can have several journals. And every journal has got ISSN number. Hence you copy and paste the desired journals ISSN number on scopus and web of science. If It's indexed and has a decent rank such as Q3 or Q4, indexed for few years and decent H-index (above 10 in my opinion), you are good to go.

The first red flag is the publisher asking you to submit your paper, which is already published elsewhere. Second, they are assuring you free of cost publishing. Third which bookstores will it sell your publication too? Fourth, is there a flow chart to providing a brief of timelines related to publishing your work? As stated by others even I read about this publications after one of my teachers negatively reviewed the publishing house only to be found out that it indeed is a predatory publisher lacking any credentials. Given that it has zero credibility and is lesser known in terms of its contribution to the publishing field, I suggest you rather go with a publishing house which is less known, but has good credentials to realise the real worth of your work. Lambert Publishers are not Journal publishers. They publish books, monographs and Theses in book forms. They distribute their contents on Amazon, Morebooks.com and in other non-English stores after translation. Authors can order physical copies of their books for sales (but not compulsory). All books are assigned ISBNs and they give royalty on sales made to authors from time to time. Whether it is predatory? I think so, as no serious peer review is done. I can only recommend that authors vet all their contents very thoroughly before sending them out. Predatoriness also begins from the author. What is important is the distribution of the books in over 8 translations that they will do. I am not endorsing them but sharing this piece based on my experience. The decision is up to you

I have checked it and found the company unreliable, and it engages in unethical practices. So please, do not accept their invitation. This company primarily fishes for new customers online. Every time they see a new person publishes an article, they will solicit the person to publish with them. So watch out, and do not be fooled or duped by them. It is a scam.

I think 'Lambert Academic Publishing (LAP)' is one of the vanity publishers. Do not fall into the trap. I mean do not publish your thesis or book via this publisher, it may bring trouble in your future scientific career.

there are people who call it a scam and fraud. yet there are those who dont. My opinion is its far better get your book published by some international publisher rather than from a local street corner bookstore type publisher. At-least your book will reach far more international audience and presence on Amazon. About royalty payment i would say I got my first book published twelve years ago and total five books published but I did not get a single penny in royalty. But I don't care about it. My books are online for sale and I show my peers and students and they get impressed. Cheers
