Dear Lucio,
Yes, I fully agree with you that the issue of sustainability is still relevant and will continue to be relevant. I would add that, in my opinion, the issue of sustainability will always remain highly principled and topical already. In my opinion, sustainability and the green transformation of the economy are key topics that are gaining importance in the face of the global challenges of climate change and biodiversity conservation. Growing public awareness of environmental issues is leading consumers to increasingly choose sustainable companies, which is influencing business strategy. Implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in companies is becoming standard, and corporate social responsibility is being combined with environmentally friendly practices. The accelerated process of global warming, caused by greenhouse gas emissions, calls for immediate action on sustainability, as evidenced by interdisciplinary scientific research. The results of these studies show the negative effects of human activity, such as land degradation and loss of biodiversity. In the face of these challenges, it is crucial to strive to build a green, zero-carbon, closed-loop economy to ensure stable living conditions for future generations. Examples of countries and companies that have already addressed these challenges show that it is possible to reduce negative environmental impacts and ensure sustainable development at the same time. In view of the above, the principles of sustainable development and environmental protection are becoming not only a moral obligation, but also an economic necessity. The pursuit of a green transformation of the economy and the protection of the climate is crucial to ensure the basis of existence for future generations. In the face of growing environmental and social crises, sustainability remains a priority that will remain relevant and important to the global community.
I pointed out various aspects of this important for the future of the planet, the future of the planet's climate and biosphere, and the future of future generations of people in my article:
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRINCIPLES OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT AS A KEY ELEMENT OF THE PRO-ECOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE ECONOMY TOWARDS GREEN ECONOMY AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY
I invite you to join me in scientific cooperation,
Kind regards,
