In your opinion, in general, to prepare a systematic review of topics in medicine, is a broader or more specific topic better?
It's just a more general question. I understand that the objectives and methodology must be considered

The finest review articles are those that concentrate on a single, crucial subject, provide all pertinent ideas, link them, and then offer conclusions and recommendations. Some reviews are general; in this instance, you should go gather all relevant information before drawing your conclusions. Regards.

The best review article is that focusing on a specific important topic, when you give all related ideas to that article, interconnect, and then conclude and recommend, the specific article will be the best. Some review articles are general, in that case you should go and collect all related results, then conclude. Regards.

Both broader and more specific topics can be suitable for a systematic review, and the choice depends on the research question and scope of the review. A broader topic might be appropriate when the goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the field, to identify gaps in knowledge, and to evaluate the overall quality of the evidence. In contrast, a more specific topic might be appropriate when the aim is to address a focused research question, to compare the effectiveness of different interventions, or to explore the relationship between certain variables. It is important to note that the choice of topic will impact the feasibility of the review, as well as the time and resources required to complete it. A review on a broader topic may require more resources and take longer to complete, but may yield more comprehensive and generalizable results. In contrast, a review on a more specific topic may be more feasible and faster to complete, but may have limited generalizability. Ultimately, the choice of topic should be based on the specific research question and objectives of the review.

I completely agree with Dr. Ajit Singh, however, in my opinion, a specific review topic would suitably provide more insight into a specific topic of interest especially in medical fields. In the development of medicine huge number of scaffolds are tested but only 1-2 pass through all the stages of clinical trials.
A specific review would ensure researchers to draw out conclusions from a particular topic-its advantages and disadvantages. To which way it is working and which way it is not. A particular direction is provided by a specific literature review.
A general review will more specifically discusses the advances of such topic of interests. The serious problem and the through drawbacks is hardly discussed.
