In the era of databases like Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of science etc. Is Google Scholar is still a viable source to search articles for a review?

As someone engaging in ethnographic research, are we expected to disclose transcribed data to the journal where we would like publish an article?

My question could show you that I am new to this issue. I do not know whether it is to update to scopus id or creating scopus id.

I have ORCID. But recently I heard about SCOPUS ID and SCOPUS JOURNALS.

I seek your help for both. I need SCOPUS journals list for Psychology. I am asking you for getting accurate/ authentic list.

Now I want to know how can my existing journal articles be checked for SCOPUS ID?

Is the ID for articles published in SCOPUS journals alone?

I checked google for it. Clicked the links given and loggedin too. But there are no such tabs as document search in scopus page as is shown in google results.

I have none to seek help. Kindly help me with this.

I have spent hours searching for a journal in q1 or q2 at Web of Science, however, I could not get the way to resolve this matter. Our paper deals with the pandemics in the Arabic novels using the New Historicism approach, so, we aim to get a journal in, Literature, Literary Criticism, Middle East, Literature Theory, or Cultural Studies.

In my study, I have developed a conceptual model with 8 independent factors that MAY affect a dependent factor. I am still on the research design stage.

Each of the 8 factor will have many variables to be posed as questions to respondents.

Now I want to test this model. What should be the approach? Will all the responses need to be converted in a Likert scale to perform statistical analysis?

Please suggest some good thesis / research works where such model testing is conducted, so I can learn from similar works.

I am currently doing my quantitative analysis as part of my dissertation using data derived from a Likert scale survey. I am testing correlation between ordinal variables, so I am therefore using Spearman’s rho. However, I have three questions relating to each variable on the questionnaire and on SPSS the analysis comes out very bulky as it’s taking each question as separate variables, resulting in lots of correlations. Is there a way to group three questions together under one variable when testing or is there a calculation I can do to work out the outcome myself? I’ve been searching the internet all day and haven’t found any answers.

Hi, I'm currently analysing a survey for a university course design, and some guidance would be very much appreciated.

The students who are enrolled in a (year-long) course were given a link to participate in an online survey (which consists of a series of questionnaires using a Likert scale) over the course of two semesters. Since this wasn't compulsory, we only have 66 responses from semester 1 and 116 from semester 2. Some students might have submitted their responses in both semesters, or just one of the two semesters, or none.

And with this premise, I would like to find out whether there is any significant difference in students' response in semester 1 and semester 2. So, for example, I want to compare the mean/median rank of Q1 in semester 1 with the same Q1 in semester 2.

Would this be possible in any way? What kind of test should I use? Thank you very much in advance.
