The method of choosing a suitable publication has become more complicated as a result of the explosion of publications, specializations, and the rise of interdisciplinary topics. Until making a choice on when to write, authors must maximize against a variety of requirements or restrictions.

Our lab is currently trying to formulate a s/o/w dispersion and utilize the technique of solvent evaporation. The oil phase containing a polymer will evaporate and the polymer will precipitate around the solid phase. The outer aqueous phase is a 10%PVA solution. In order to separate the solid phase from the water phase, it is necessary to use vacuum filtration. However, when attempting to do so, the solution will not filter through and gets stuck. How are PVA solutions normally filtered? Do we need a specific grade of filter paper or a specific pore size?

I have a vapor production device that provides me with air+steam flow of 80% or 40% w/w (volume ratio) water vapor quality at 100 degC. The flow passes through a series of valves and tubes where it cools down because of heat transfer. There, the temperature is measured to be something around 50deC. I know that at 50degC, this amount of water vapor corresponds to super-saturated flow. So, I assume that the extra water vapor has been condensed inside the tube, and the resulting flow is a saturated vapor (I don't have access to see how much water has been condensed). Do you find this assumption realistic? Or I may be dealing with a super-saturated flow?

On the other hand, I am a bit uncertain about the measurements of the temperature sensor. To what extent, do you think that latent heat of condensation on the sensor can affect the temperature reading?

I guess some of you had a problem when searching scientific conferences within your field of research and which fits specific requirements. For example, unspoken demands for our conferences (except for topic) are conference country within EU or NA, and a publication of conference paper in Scopus/WoS.

Sometimes it's quite difficult to find a conference satisfying these requirements. The best ones that we participate were:

- SGEM Conference - Bulgaria, Conference proceedings are indexed in Scopus

- JTAC Conference - Hungary, expanded and improved versions of conference papers were published in Scopus/WoS journal.

However, these conferences were really hard to find among all the conferences. So, I want to ask. How do you choose a conference? Are there any databases for scientific conferences that you use?

For calculation I am looking into the wavelength and intensity for nitrogen II lines obtained from optical emission spectroscopy. The Data is attached here. I got positive slope from the fit. For fitting I am using scipy.linregress method in python . Where I am doing mistake ? Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have a paper that deals with using water treatment residual (a non hazardous waste) to remediate soils. I investigate the micro-scale properties of this waste and then assess how it affects soil structure using XCT.

This fits in with waste management as I am characterising how it can be recycled into soil,

I am using XCT to investigate soil structure, and addresses soil remediation.

Any suggestions of appropriate journals would be much appreciated considering the cross-discipline nature of the paper!
