I might genetically engineer myself, with somatic mutations, to get white privilege:

Whiteness from the woke studies is a social construct, not a biological one. You can be black as the night and still benefit from White privilege, which to the unassuming normie seems confusing. Hence, becoming one of the X-Men only makes you "diverse", not necessarily white, Marvel will make sure of that.
