I am working on a project where I am dealing with four different conditions.?

Hello everyone,
I am working on a project where I am dealing with four different conditions. thats I am putting samples containing milk and cassava in plastic and container for storage under refrigerated and ambient conditions to determine the viability and effects of the conditions (plastic and glass, cassava and milk, and refrigerated and ambient) on the samples. I took measurements on every 24hours and 48hours every seven days for a period of one month. now I have available data but don't know how to go about with the analysis. I am familiar with sass.
can some please me.
best regards.

Hi
Which model to use is according to your research question.
Need to clarify the statement:" every 24 hours and 48 hours for every week for a period of one month . " this will affect how the measurements are organized.
Hope that it is of benefit.
Yours,

Hi
What did you measure to determine viability and effects?
Same sample over period of time...etc.

I am working on survival and viability evaluation of freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria for yoghurt production.
I hv mixed the bacterial cells with cassava and milk and freeze-dried, then stored the samples in plastic and glass vials for analysis under refrigerated and ambient conditions during every 24hours and 48hours for every week for a period of one month.
Now I have the data, but how to compare and choose the best module?

Hello Ibrahim,
So you have two samples or dependent variables: milk and cassava
and you are testing them based on the following independent variables: container type (plastic vs glass) and environment (refrigeration vs non)
Perhaps a 2 way ANOVA for independent samples would work here. The two-way ANOVA examines the effects of two independent variables concurrently. This allows you to determine whether the two independent variables interact with respect to their effect on the dependent variable.
This SPSS guide may be able to help you do the actual analysis.
Hopefully this helps,

A comparison was made of a horizontal versus vertical shaking procedure for raw-milk dilutions used in the Standard Plate Count for the enumeration of milk bacteria. No significant differences (P<0.01) were found. Glass and plastic petri dishes were also compared in a like manner and no significant differences could be detected.
