i wanna write a research paper on signal processing and also in image processing. how to write a research paper and publish it especially for IEEE. and also suggest me to topics to write at starting (basic) level
Writing a research paper should not be spontaneous, it is the outcome of some work which one has to publish as a paper. So my advice is find an area of your interest make a study of existing works and put in your own contribution. The contribution can be small but significant.
The question of how to avoid plagiarism is very critical as relevant to all of us. The solution lies in citing or acknowledging any direct or indirect or paraphrased idea, information, data, or concept, etc, soon as they are used.
I think to write effective research paper, we need to conform to the practice of quality academic or scholarly writing of a good research paper. For example, I think this question on how to write an effective research paper is extremely crucial for all the practicing and aspiring academic or scholarly writers worldwide.
There are also different types of research papers that we know.
But all of them have similar demands for quality outputs. For example, a good research paper should be associated or identified with the following qualities or attributes:
· Informative in the relevant subject area or topical issue that it deals with
· Original in the sense that the idea is conceived by the writer or the author
· Clear and simple or easy to read without jargon or complex woods or phrase
· Accuracy in terms of the content facts, figures, names, concepts, time, or write up
· Grammatical in terms of rules like tenses, spellings, numbers, connections or flows of information
· Free from plagiarism, meaning all borrowed or loan contents should be acknowledged even if it is just a word or a paraphrase and the author may use her/his own words instead
· Written logically, systematically, or formatted with a precise title or topic, names of authors/ co-authors, authors affiliations and contact information like phone numbers and emails, abstract, introduction including purpose or objectives, methodology or methods, results or findings, discussion, or results and discussion conclusions, recommendations or conclusions and recommendations, acknowledgements, if any, and references based on in-text citations only.
· Proofread, peer reviewed, edited, and final approval by the original author, and published.

Collect papers on research area you are interested. Do some experimentation on existing work. Think what you can make improvement in the existing work. Each and every journal has a word or latex template available. Familiarize with latex for producing quality publications.
The structure and language of a research paper are always inter-related. For these aspects, I would rather suggest you check out this link as I found it really awesome -

Every paper has 5 sections or more. First section refers to introduction and related work. Cite the works in recent literature. Section 2 concerned with the background material. Third section is regarding the proposed methodology and fourth section concerning simulation results and conclusion in fifth section. Write the abstract after completing the five section as you get complete overview of your work.
Models and algorithms in image processing are usually defined in the continuum and then applied to discrete data, that is
the signal samples over a lattice. In particular, the set up in the continuum of the segmentation problem allows a fine formulation
basically through either a variational approach or a moving interfaces approach. In any case, th...
The paper presents a reconstruction of analogue multi-harmonic signals, from a number of integrated values of input signals.
Based on the value of the integral of the original input signal, with a known frequency spectrum but unknown amplitudes and
phases, a reconstruction of its basic parameters is done by the means of derived analytical and summa...
The proposed work aims to improve the performance of palmprint recognition system by reducing the size of templates. Discrete Wavelet Transform assists in scaling down the size of extracted Region of Interest of palmprint approximately by a factor of 16, while preserving the potential information used to discriminate among different palms. This wor...
