How to remove the No data value from a raster (.tif)?

I sent a submission to an Elsevier Journal. The status have been "With editor" since a month. I have done a submission to other journal some months before and the "with editor" process was just a week. I want to know if it is normal to wait a long time in order to change of status.

I have two raster layers of the same area. one with land-use values (3 types) and the other with vegetation index (also 3 types). both rasters have the same resolution and same geo reference. now, I wish to replace the pixels with a certain value of land use (only one out of the three) with the vegetation index values. can anyone suggest a way to do that?

if necessary, I also have the land-use layer as a shapefile of polygons.

I have submitted my paper to one of the springer journal. For the first week of submission, the status was "with editor" and then it changed to under review for one week, then reviewers asigned for the next two days then again changed to under review for 10 days then finally to "required reviews completed". The status reviews completed was for one week and then it changed to with editor again for last 10 days. Now my question is if it is rejection then the editor would immediately send the rejection letter. Why the editor is taking time to decide? Is it a good sign or a bad one??

I need to clip out a shapefile from another shapefile. The .filterBounds() function returns the area I need to actually delete. For example:

var  = area1.filterBounds(area2) returns area2, when what I need is (area1) - (area2) in FeatureCollection form.

I ran this code and created a Filter, and I can map it correctly, but I can't use it in an Image function (the dataset I am working with is the GFC Hansen, which is an image and not an image collection, so there's no function for filters).

Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi everybody. I am trying to use two DEMs derived from Alos PALSAR to identify height differences between them and define possible landslides, using the Fill process and the Raster Calculator in ArcGis 10.3 but the results aren't satisfactory.

What's the height error in a DEM from Alos PASAR with a horizontal resolution of 12,5 m?

Is necesary to do any other process at the DEM's before make the substraction to reduce the inherent height error?
