How to obtain MXene coated glass fibers?

I want to synthesise Titanium carbide Mxene for modification of Electrode and Titanium carbide Mxene is prepared by etching of Ti3AlC2. So I want to buy the powder of Ti3AlC2.

But there are too many types of Ti3AlC2 powder available so I am confused about which product is better for making Mxene.

Can you give suggestions on that?

Currently, I am preparing the delamination of MXene (Ti3C2) with the Li cation intercalation. Originally, Ti3C2 was synthesized from in-situ HF etching which most author claimed that Li cation enlarge interspace of MXene and possibly enhance delamination by shaking or sonicating. By exposing MXene to longer sonication (approx. 20min to 1 hour), can the MXene sheet defect? For instance, If I sonicate multilayer MXene in DI water for 20 minute with 60% amplitude, can the large single sheet of MXene chop to smaller size? I am grateful if you could explain the phenomenon of the structural change in term of using sonication technique. Your suggestion and explaining are very crucial for my future work.

I would like to understand the correlation between the measured impedance and the material properties.

A composite material comprises both non-conducting and conducting parts then how to measure the current density of 10 ul of the solution of the composite material to carry out the Galnostatic charge and discharge experiment.

I am currently working on differently coated titanium disks in order to investigate any antimicrobial/bacteriostatic effect. Taking a cue from the literature, I'm incubating the disks with a known concentration of bacteria for 8 and 24 hours (in order to allow biofilm formation), then I gently wash and sonicate them. This procedure allows detaching adherent bacteria that formed a biofilm on the surfaces, and the medium in which the disks have been sonicated is used to count CFU on agar plates.

Overall this procedure seems to work, but now I have an issue: the coating I'm testing now detaches from the titanium, even with a weak vortex. The coating is not soluble and thus does not spread in agar, so I can't apply a modified Muller-Hinton test and I don't have the possibility to read absorbance after colorimetric assay, nor special microscopes.

I am using the HF acid etching technique to synthesize single layer Ti3C2 MXene flakes followed by LiCl intercalation. However, the etching process seems to have failed twice in a row whereas previously the process I used worked perfectly. The first time it failed was after the intercalation should have been completed; while rinsing away unreacted LiCl and large MXene flakes, the single layer MXene flakes were never freed up, and the centrifuge pellet got smaller and smaller as MXene flakes were rinsed away. The second time when rinsing off the HF acid the pellets got smaller and smaller, but no flakes were apparent in the waste.

Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you troubleshoot/solve it?
