How do you find information to report on the ceiling/floor effect of a particular assessment instrument?

The assessment I'm working on is the MSPSS.

I am not sure if I understand your question, but if you mean how to know if you have ceiling or floor effect then you must to check the Graphs of the items an test ICC's and I think that the skewness results will be useful.

Estimada Irene lo que le puedo señalar es que las pruebas sirven si son confiables y la confiabilidad tiene forma de medir al igual que los procesos de validación.
¿cuando sabemos que una prueba mide lo que tiene que medir?
¡cuando sabemos si una prueba esta bien estructurada?
entonces existen los métodos de validación de asl pruebas que te permiten realizar ese proceso técnico.
hay mucho material de este tipo bajo Medición y validación de instrumentos de evaluación.
