How do I search publications by local here, Malaysia specifically on the title of IT Project management?

How do I get local publications for IT Project management?

It is my experience. I have also found the similar problem, particularly in Indonesia case. In my opinion, it is about the information retrieval. There are my strategies to get the resources. First, you can do a stratified searching in several academic database mentioned by the previous colleagues above (e.g., the Google Scholars, DOAJ, and this Researchgate also) by using specific keywords following your topic. Second, access the research groups, universities, and academic associations related to your research area. I believed that, you will find the experts who have published their research works. Third, you can access the regional/international organization websites to gain the national data. For instance, the UNESCO, the World Bank, etc. I hope, it will help. Good luck!

If you have an access of Web of Science, or google scholar you can easily find material related to you research topic.

If you have subscribed / your university have subscribed the following journals / publishers, you can do a search on "Malaysia IT Project Management" at their websites, then you can find some articles that you might need:

1) Project Management Journal (Wiley) - I saw more & more articles pertaining to project management in Malaysia context found in this journal

2) International Journal of Project Management (Elsevier)

3) ProQuest

4) Emerald

5) EBSCO

Note: above just some examples, there are many more journals & publishers also published IT Project Management articles pertaining to Malaysia. Alternatively, it will be free when you perform a google / google scholar search in which those articles might not be the latest.

What is my best option to concentrate a protein solution obtained through RIPA lysis buffer?

I recently performed protein extraction with RIPA buffer of some cells I collected. The intended purpose was to use it to load in an SDS PAGE gel for subsequent Western Blot. I made the mistake of lysing the cells in too much RIPA buffer and although there is protein, the sample is too diluted. I want to load 20 micrograms of total protein per lane, and I have roughly 400 microlitres of a protein solution at 0.13 microgram/microlitre. Since there is no gel that supports having 150 microlitres of sample loaded into a lane, I am looking for a way to concentrate what I have rather than just discarding it.

Storage temperature of lentivirus particles ?

I just wanted to ask if anyone stored lentivirus particles at -20C. I read that at temperature of -80 they are stable for upto 1-2 years. Does storing them at -20 loose their transduction efficiency? For how long would they be suitable for transduction if stored at -20C?

Also what are some of the precautions that one must take while doing experiments related to transduction (other than BSL-2/3 facility)

Can I leave my western Primary Antibody on for 2-3 days at 4C?

I started my westerns yesterday and incubated them last night in Primary antibody at 4C. I have 4 gels and will only be able to get to 2 of them tonight due to really bad weather and we are shutting down early. This will leave the other two gels in 4C with primary antibody on them until Sunday when I can make it back to finish the process.

Will this affect my outcome? I'm using very sensitive methods trying to measure proteins at pg levels using Native conditions. I don't want to lose the signal or create a lot of background.

If there's a better step to leave them in over the weekend then I can do that. I just wanted to urge that the sample signal is already really low and I don't want to jeopardize that.

For western blotting, Bradford Assay or Nanodrop which method is best for determining protein concentration?

I prepared my samples for western blotting and I did overheat my samples mistakenly after adding sample buffer (SDS) for about 20 min, now i did western blotting but got no clear result. Can anyone help to know it is too much to heat my samples and what happen to my samples if i overheat them!

After a Bradford assay, why could my control absorbance values be greater than my standard absorbance values of the same concentration?

I am performing a bradford assay using fibrinogen. My standards are also fibrinogen and the concentrations range from 1.25mg/ml to 0.02mg/ml. Fibrinogen was dissolved in phosphate buffered saline solution. I expose my samples to 0.63mg/ml in a 24 wells-plate and my controls are wells with only 0.63mg/ml (to check if the protein adheres to the well plate walls).

That means I expect my controls to have an absorbance equal to or less than the 0.63mg/ml standard solution absorbance values. But for some reason I am getting absorbances that are higher. I prepared fresh standard each time I assayed and the solutions that my samples were exposed to were from the same stock solution. I have repeated this assay about 5 times and get similar results. I know there could be many reasons as to why this may be happening (contamination, degraded protein etc), but I cannot seem to think of any other reasons. So I would be really grateful if anyone may have any ideas as to why this is happening?

I need to detect PARylation increase after short H2O2 treatments. The first attempts didn't work well, I don't even see PARP1 auto-PARylation.

I am wondering if there is any trick, such as adding protease inhibitor, working super fast, specific transfer condition. That sort of thing.
