How can i catch scolopendra in field?

I have one row of raw data 13, 0, 24, 26, 17 and 14. It is a larval survival rate / six treatments. Can I run chi-squared with zero inluded? I use R, and it looks like it works, but I am not sure whether it is OK. Or would it be better to do the survival rate in terms of mortality rates?

Also, is it possible to run an post hoc analysis pairwise comparison test to see individually the differences between the treatments?

Would greatly appreciate it if someone could share their expertise whit the following: The 2 variables are nominal ; each variable has several categories, resulting in a 9X11 contingency table. Total N= approximately 2800. One of the cells has an observed count of 0. Is that a problem if I want to do a Chi-Squared test? (I ran the test in Stata to check if any of the expected frequencies was <1 and if >20% of the cells had an expected frequency<5; these problems were not there, so I felt Fisher's exact test was not needed... in addition, no marginals were zeros.). I can identify to species beetle fragments from Little Owl pellets, especially from Britain or Western Europe. I think this will inform feeding habits/ foraging sites of the birds, as well as giving data on the distribution of the beetles. Any birders want to collaborate?

Hello. What are non-lethal ways or trapping methods that may be used to capture birds, both in an urban setting and in the wild? The purpose mainly is for a comparison of the morphological differences, among others, of the birds relative to their habitat. Also, what is the ideal number of specimens to obtain for such a task? Several journal articles of similar studies used varying numbers of individual birds for their observation, and comparison. 

We are planning to place remote DVR cameras next to Broad-winged Hawk nests. We have a few questions from those that have already used these cameras on nests: How much memory was used per hour of footage (at 720)? How often did memory have to be downloaded from cameras? How did changing batteries and downloading data from the cameras impact the nesting birds? When did you put cameras next to the nest? When they were on eggs? Before they were on eggs?
