How can I import 2D sketches from CATIA into COMSOL Multiphysics?

I am an undergraduate student. My major is naval architecture and offshore engineering.

My interested research area is shipbuilding, production/ field basis, structure.

I question is welding is a good topic for thesis ?

I would like to know the rate of biochar in combination with organic matter to be applied in agricultural fields for increasing soil fertility.

I apologise if there is an obvious solution to this but I am very new to COMSOL. I would like to model a sphere moving with a constant acceleration through a body of water. It should take off at a wall, and then move upwards. I would like to know the effect this sphere has on the wall and the fluid around it.

I don't know how to model a body that is moving through a domain though. Is this possible?

Hi, I am new to OpenFOAM and made a 'sub' folder under tutorials/multiphase/interPhaseChangeFoam using the 'cavitatingBullet' case and moved an ASCII .msh file to it from Fluent. When I am trying to convert the mesh to OpenFOAM using the 'fluentMeshToFoam filename.msh' command, it is showing a FOAM FATAL ERROR (cannot find file "/home/divyajyoti/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v2012/tutorials/multiphase/interPhaseChangeFoam/sub/system/controlDict"). I am stuck with it for several days and unable to find a way out from it. I would dearly appreciate any help with this. I am attaching a screenshot of the terminal window. Regards!

For a circular plate, a uniform shear force distributed in a circular strip is applied on its upper surface, and the shear direction is tangential.

This is a 2D axisymmetry problem. However, when I use the solid mechanic and 2D axisymmetrical modules, I can not find the method of adding the ring-type load in the interface of boundary load. Only radial or axial load is available.

I wonder if COMSOL can not solve the problem of axisymmetry structure under the excitation of circumferential tangential load?

If it can be solved, how can it be realized?

Comsol is investigating deformation due to gravity.

Gravity is applied to the nanosheets to check for displacement and stress. If I input the Young's modulus of the channel to about 1 [GPa], the result is displayed.

If I enter about 170 [GPa], the following error occurs.

I didn't find a solution.

The maximum number of Newtonian iterations has been reached.

The returned solution does not converge.

Not all parameter steps are returned.

I am curious about the cause. Please tell me
