How to define and compute the axial stiffness of bolted joints?

at room temperature, just want to know the precedure

The axial stiffness of rod elements are AE\L, where A is area, E is module of elasticity and L is length of element.

Bolted joints are more complicated than one might imagine - you should always include the bolt pre-load if you wish to get a sensible answer to this sort of question.
