How to count the charging time for the electric vehicle?
I have found the attached equation that count the charging time for the electric vehicle
Equation (charge time demand=Vehicle Battery Capacity (KWH)/ Charging Station Delivery Rate (KW)).
could anyone give a hand to find a paper that having the equation within the publish papers.
already appreciated

Dear Abdulgader,
The formula you have used is a good instrument to give a rough estimate of the chagre time. However, the real (and precice) charging duration depends on a number of factors, such as temperature, state of health of the battery and charging strategy. In reality, the maximum power output is used only in the very beginning of the charge cycle. (Constant current mode + constant volateg mode.) At the very end (when the battery is nearly fully charged, the controller usually switches to "trickle mode", which is why charging the battery from 90% to 100% takes a lot longer than going from 50% to 60% for instance.
So, in reality the charging time will be longer than " charge time demand=Vehicle Battery Capacity (KWH)/ Charging Station Delivery Rate (KW) ".

From that I would understand that
1.the Charing time will not be taking the right time according to mathematical result.
2.The table is missing a list of power level 3 for fast charger.
Could you please provide the article which presented the charts those you have attached because I was looking for it and haven't found it.
Also, would ask for the equations to count the costs of electricity and PV in economic cases.
Using the US as my location.
Planning to build a system that consist the following:
1.PV array.
2.Batteries.
3.Controller.
4.Main electricity grid.
5.EVCS( Electric vehicles charge station ) with many of cars.
The main aim
To get the total cost

Dear Abdulgader,
Could you evaluate the total cost of system you are referring above? I am also planning the same system in India.

Vaibhav
