How to convert HARDI diffusion data (hdr/img) to nifiti with fslchfiletype for TBSS?

I need the images loaded into MATLAB for the analysis. I have the .nii segmentation file and in the instructions for practice I was asked to

manipulate the files as .hdr and .img, which, it says, MATLAB can read.

My question is, Is there an easy way to convert a file saved as .nii to .hdr and .img files? I need to discard the first scans of an fMRI time series to avoid T1 effects. I am totally new in this topic. So I am, for now, just learning the basics to complete a data analysis and I am stucked here.

Hi there,

I have been working on MR data from siemens. Some of the subjects have their data in .IMA format. I realized it is also a form of DICOM files. I normally use ( for files in .dcm format) dcm2niix and dcm_sort to convert dicom to nifti and sort them.

I was able to use dcm2niix *IMA for the conversion of IMA to nifti but how do I sort them? the command dcm_sort <dicom_directory> is not working. Any suggestions on how I can sort the IMA files?

Hi all,Say you are modelling a task using a first-level model in SPM. The task consists of three conditions: congruent, incongruent, and control. When setting up the contrasts for this model, how would one properly weight the conditions for the following contrast: [congruent + incongruent] > control? Would this be 0.5 0.5 -1? On a related note, would the contrast [congruent + incongruent] > baseline be 0.5 0.5 0, or 1 1 0? I am confused as I've read that positive (and negative) contrasts should sum to 1, but I've seen people use contrasts such as 1 1 0 0 etc. for certain contrasts, which obviously do not sum to 1. Any input appreciated!

ResearchGate lists multiple open access publications with the message:

"Your recent article doesn’t have the full-text yet. Add the full-text of your recent life science work so that others can read and cite it."

The only option is offers is to upload a pdf. I can't find a way to add the open access link, which is how many prefer to manage their publication library these days. I don't have time to download all those open access pdfs and re-upload them to ResearchGate.

My questions are:

1. Why isn't ResearchGate including the open-access link when the pubs are first posted?

2. How do I add the open access links retrospectively?
