How to auto convert this citation (Abrahão, Moriguchi, and Andrade 2016) to Abrahão et al., (2016) in Mendeley ?

Author guidelines; in the reference section, the following statement is written:

"PCI Journal styles reference list entries using the bibliography entry format from the Chicago Manual of Style; the entry elements are separated by periods. When citing references within the text, use superscript numerals in numerical order starting at the beginning of the paper. The Reference section at the end of the paper should also list references in numerical order, and the references and numbers should coordinate. Every cited edition of a reference must be listed as a separate reference."

I looked at every Chicago Manual of Style available in Mendeley. Non of them would list references in numerical order at the end of the paper. All of Chicago Manual of Style list the references at the end alphabetically based on the last name of the authors.

Can anyone help?

Is there a way to convert a static list of references into the desired referencing form such Harvard and Chicago style? I know that the tools like Mendeley and Endnote can quickly convert it, but this list is static in a word file. Pls let me know if you have a way to convert.

following problem: Mendeley plug in in Word 2011 (Mac) is not working. I can see the toolbar, but nothing is happening if I use it.

After reinstallation of the Plug in Mendeley mentioned: Visual basic Application support is missing on my word. As far as I found out: Mac doensn't use VBA anyway.

The toolbar doesnt even show a citation style. The field remains white.

I currently have a merged in-text citation:

I want it to be chronological instead of alphabetical:

How can you modify the style in Mendeley to allow this?
