How can digital rights of internet users be safeguarded?

As we all know we share lot of information in social media, which is accessible by anybody around the world. Do you really think this is a threat to the consumers? Do consumers try to protect themselves from unauthorized access to thier information through social media?

I intend on sampling a gas stream, with up to ~500 ppm H2S, with a flow rate varying from 0-10 litres per minute. I need to use FID to identify certain compounds in the stream, but I would like all the H2S to be removed before the GC to protect the column (Poraplot). Is there a method to remove H2S efficiently (99%+), and as a bonus, also measure the concentration of the H2S? The concentration measurement is less important than removal of the hydrogen sulfide, but would be an additional set of data.

i have nanofiber samples coated with nanoparticles. i want to calculate the ultraviolet protection factor(UPF) to examine the UV protection property of these samples. the UV spectrophotometery analyze has reported transmission percents range from 0.001 to 0.9. however the calculated UPF show no protective property. i have used AS/NZ standard for UPF calculation.can anyone explain to me how to use the UPF equation?

Commercial components are increasingly used in cubesats due to the lower cost and a full characterization (at least in terrestrial environment).

How can I protect cots components from the harsh environment of space, which implies outgassing in vacuum, severe jumps in temperature, radiation, etc?

Is it possibile that the cost of such protections (and related cots components) might exceed the cost of equivalent space-qualified components?

In 1969, the 'Inglefinger rule' was used to protect journals from potential dual publication. Now, authors wait long periods of time for their submissions to be processed (sometimes up to 6 months before it is even sent for review), and face longer waits for decisions before they can submit to another journal. Given that the journal publishing industry is extremely profitable and often relies on the voluntary work of others (authors, reviewers, +/- editors), should Inglefinger only be applied to non-profit publishers, and let those that earn a profit fight for our free work?

An ideal lentivirus storage buffer should be able to stabilize the lentivirus and preserve its activity in storage for long period of time (eg. several years), and may also protect the virus from freeze-thaw cycles though it is not recommended to do so.

From the publication, I saw people used PBS, TNE, culture media etc. There are also a few companies selling specific lentivirus storage buffers. Does anybody know a good in-house formula or supplement that could preserve the virus better than standard PBS or media?
