Preferably, take a cup of warm water in the morning, to stimulate the movement of the intestine, as hot water helps to relax the blood vessels and the digestive tract and thus stimulate digestion. Taking a cup of lukewarm water keeps the body balanced and promotes the body's persistence by applying all its functions. The stability of the human body temperature at about 37 ° C during most of the day is beneficial to chemical reactions in the body that rely on enzymes called enzymes Which is about 37 degrees Celsius. Other organisms have different temperatures than humans, since the enzymes and chemical reactions inside their bodies work with different heat. Protecting warm water from hardening of fatty substances in the body stimulates digestion. The baby is advised not to drink too much warm water during food because it increases the amount of acids in the stomach. Drinking cold or iced water helps to lose weight more effectively than hot water. This is because the body adjusts its temperature immediately after it receives any fluids or nutrients, leading to a higher calorie burning rate, greater excretion of sweat, More water for fluid recovery. Drinking hot water on a hot day relieves the body of toxins due to increased sweating, leading to the release of toxins out of the body and purification of the bloodstream. After physical exertion you should drink cold water because it helps to cool the body more effectively than warm water. It is preferable to take cold water to clean the urinary tract and expel the infections, and can be added to the lemon in the form of boiled pieces or natural juice, which can help to reduce these infections.

In general, it is recommended that the water temperature should be as close as possible to the room temperature so that the body does not experience any kind of shock. On a hot summer day one may not feel like drinking 30 deg C water and on cold days it is difficult to drink 20 deg C water but this is what Dr. Deepak Chopra recommends.

Two generally healthy populations (China and Japan) drink hot beverages with their meals (hot tea). There has been some anectodal reports indicating a link between drinking cold water and heart attacks. However, most recent reports have indicated that this is not true according to the Texas Heart Institute. https://www.livestrong.com/article/554347-exercise-cold-drinks-heart-attacks/ Basically, I like to drink tepid water in hot weather because it less of a shock to my system. In cold weather, I prefer hot beverages. Cold water restricts the digestive processes while war/hot water is beneficial. Here is an interesting URL that suggests their are optimal times for cold and hot water. https://www.aquazania.co.za/2017/07/hot-vs-cold-benefits-of-drinking-hot-water-vs-cold-water/

After exercise, cold water helps the body to cool down. If you have digestion troubles too often, you should drink warm water.
Drinking warm water is one of things that can help you get rid of impurities in the body. Health experts recommend drinking warm water with a squeeze of lemon. Lemon water stimulates digestion and flushes toxins. When you drink warm water, you are not only staying hydrated but also receiving its cleansing benefits.

Ayurveda do not recommend drinking cold water because of the belief that cold water causes contraction of muscles. On the other hand, drinking warm water increases blood circulation along with protecting internal organs from damage. This is why most health professionals recommend drinking warm water for optimal health. However, on a hot day, you can drink cold water as it cools your body temperature quickly.

There is no dispute about the importance of water to the human body, which consists of about 75% of the water, which is significantly increased during the summer and with high temperature. Many people choose the best temperature for drinking water. Some prefer cold water, while others see lukewarm water as the best for health.
Experts recommend relying on lukewarm water as it is best suited for internal body temperature, even if it is not refreshing with the same degree of cold water. Water is of great importance to detoxifying the body, experts say. According to the German website Fasser Helvet, lukewarm water has more power to detoxify the body than cold water, which the body needs a lot of energy to deal with.

Drinking water is one of the best favors you can do to your body. It has surprising health benefits such as strong kidneys, more energy, better mood, and lower cholesterol. Hot water only adds to the long list of reasons why water should be a staple in your diet with several exclusive reliefs.

Cold drinks should be forbidden, because they make our organism stupidly (with O benefits) lazy, not managing heat problems as it's gifted for. Second, because it doesn't cut your thirst, at the opposite, it triggers it. In all deserts in the world, people drink hot, because the heat helps to a whole body hydratation. And also, very simple: when you put heat inside, outside seems suddenly not that hot. Cold drinks were invented by people that didn't suffer thirst ever, they were created, not for humanity's relief, but to create addiction and that way sell a lot, very expansive, something that doesn't last longer than 15mn: cold.

The closer the water is to the body temperature the more easily it is absorbed into the system. Whatever the temperature of the water drunk the body has to bring it either up or down to the required 37 deg. C; and in order to do that it needs energy. The first sign of dehydration is not thirst, it is fatigue, and drinking cold water if you are tired saps the body's energy even more. If this is not how you are used to dringnking water then find a paatbale way of making warm water (not too hot more palatable either with lemon or drunk as a warm herbal or fruit infusion.)

This is a question that is included in the famous TCM 10 questions.
In TCM, from the patient's favorite drinking water temperature, we know what's wrong with the patient. The best temperature to drink is about our body temperature. If one likes to drink hot, it means the body is colder than normal, that needs warm water to warm the body up. If one likes to drink cold, it means the body is hotter than normal or at least there is a stomach heat that likes to drink cold and eat more than needs due to the food is digested too quickly in the stomach.
If there is a stomach heat, we needle ST 44 or ST 44 and 45. After that, the patient can reduce appetite and like to drink regular room temperature water. If one likes to drink hot. We increase the stomach activities by needling or plus Moxa the stomach or even the whole body to fix the patient's health issue. After the treatment, patient's appetite increased and health improved.
