Does sugar/carbohydrate important in fish feed?

I have made an unpleasant discovery that I seemed to use these terms incorrectly. 'Alluvial' seems to mean "out of the river channel", flood-plain' etc. While all these cross-bedded coarce-grained things that are formed in the river channel are fluvial and not alluvial. I simply cannot believe, because I see that east european geologists widely use 'alluvial' for this things, especially 'alluvial deposits', alluvial facies, while fluvial are mostly systems and processes. For example, "channel alluvium", in contrast to "flood plain alluvium". What is the correct usage? and, if 'the channel alluvium' is incorrect, may there exist an unifying term? Possible, 'fluviatile' may be used both for deposits of the river channel and deposits of the river flood plain?

Less coating on non-conductive material will distort the SEM images due to charging. But what if we use too much of coating?

I'm using very fine zeolite particles which has protruding shapes and need to get SEM images to study the surface morphology. I observed some sudden bright areas of my images and shaded areas. Since zeolite is non-conductive, it obviously needs coating for SEM images.

What is the recommended coating for these type of powder like non-conductive samples?

How to remove the preprint of the paper from the ResearchGate? The paper cannot be submitted to journals because they find the similarity to this text. I would like permanently remove this publication from all places in the Research Gate.

Hi everybody.

I'm currently writing a manuscript and there are discrepancies between authors on the use of "marl" and "clay", some of them suggesting that these are outdated terms that should be avoided in favor of "marlstone" and "claystone". I have found some opinion pieces on the internet supporting this view, but I'm not sure if there is scientific consensus on the matter.

To be clear, I use the terms "marl" and "clay" when referring to unconsolidated (but not recent!) sediment. The use of "-stone" in this context seems counterintuitive to me.

What do you think?

Manuscript citation purpose via mendeley software

I performed BApNA assay for soybean samples. I also took the readings using spectrophotometer. But how should I calculate the TUI for the same samples?
