Do you have resources on the ecological marketing of natural gas?

Increase in the price of fossil fuels (in the 1970s mainly oil). Rising inflation, rising interest rates, economic crisis, economic recession, rising unemployment. Creation of new technological solutions, energy innovations, which can significantly reduce the level of consumption of energy raw materials in power generation, the level of fuel combustion in motor vehicle engines, etc. So looking at the energy crisis of the 1970s and the current energy crisis, you can see many parallels. And what were the key differences apart from the fact that in the 1970s the accelerating process of global warming was not yet noticed, the onset of the climate crisis was overlooked or deliberately ignored.

In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of researchers and scientists:

What is the relation between sulfur content of natural gas that is shown by the ppm index?

And what is the actual amount of sulfur that we can extract from the gas?

The liquefied natural gas industry is developing rapidly today and is actively covered in the news. The relevance of its development is quite obvious - increasing the flexibility of supply routes. However, almost all materials on this topic are related to large and medium-scale facilities with marine delivery.

The scope of my interests is connected with small-scale LNG production and automobile/railway/river delivery for various purposes: the production of heat, electricity, fuel for gas vehicles, etc. Unfortunately, i couldn't find any relevant information or publications with prospects and technical-economic assessments of such technological chains.

I would be grateful for any comments, suggestions, experience and literature recommendations, related to small-scale LNG topic.

I’m looking for electric production profile predictions for 2020 (% of coal, natural gas, wind, solar, etc….) for some specific European countries (Poland, France and Austria).

If predictions from other European Union countries with high % of hydroelectric (like Austria), fossil fuels (Poland) or nuclear (like France) for 2020 are available, I will appreciate them also.

I would like to understand key aspects of this  technology that had such large impact in the international natural gas market.

Non-renewable nature and environmental pollution toward the climatic changes are some disadvantages of fossil fuels (oil, natural gas and coal).

Hydrogen as a zero-emission fuel is a good solution to avoid the pollution. Ability of production of hydrogen fuel from the most available renewable energy, solar power (power to electrolyze) is a major encouraging point.

Trapping the countries in prize controlling authorities (OPEC) is another important reason to turn the hydrogen fuel.

However, risk of storage and handling is a major issue to be addressed when hydrogen is used as a fuel for general use.

I would like to discuss the ability of current technology for the production/use hydrogen (as a alternative for fossil fuel) for general needs.

Rising fossil fuel and energy prices have become a key factor in the 2022 energy crisis. The energy crisis is particularly serious and burdensome for the public in countries where the level of dependence on foreign supplies of fossil fuels is high, the level of national energy independence is low, diversification of energy sources, including the development of low-cost, renewable and emission-free energy sources is low. This issue has been fostered by years of past ignorance of the climate crisis, which is also being realized, in the context of national energy and environmental policies. Therefore, the current energy crisis can become an important factor motivating decision-makers to take into account pro-climate, pro-environmental issues, green energy transition, sustainable development, increase the scale of diversification of energy sources, independence of the national energy industry, development of low-cost, renewable and zero-carbon energy sources in the context of the conducted national energy policy to increase the scale of energy security. On 6.11.2022 the UN Climate Summit COP27 in Egypt began. At such Climate Summits, individual countries make their pledges to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, planned for implementation by a certain date of green, pro-climate, pro-environmental transformation of the energy sector. Through the development of renewable and emission-free energy sources and their replacement of dirty energy based on burning fossils, it is possible to simultaneously reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contribute to slowing down the progressive process of global warming, reduce the potential negative effects and the scale of future climate catastrophe, and increase the level of diversification of energy sources, reduce the cost of heat and electricity production, increase the level of national independence of the energy sector, increase the level of energy security and thus reduce the scale of the negative impact of the energy crisis. The current energy crisis is probably not the last and the climate crisis will develop for many more years. The question of carrying out a green energy transition is a particularly urgent and important issue in the context of saving the climate, biosphere and biodiversity of natural ecosystems for future generations.

I wonder if it is possible to have a VOCs combustion/removal powered with electricity instead of natural gas. As of now, the gas is used for burning VOCs from flue gas of a paint shop, but I would like to get rid of natural gas from the process. Is it possible to power the combustion chamber e.g. with electricity? Perhaps electric arc furnace? Or to remove VOCs in other way, powered by electricity?
