Chocolate Deficiency Syndrome
Is Chocolate Deficiency Syndrome the cause of all human strife, or should we also be considering Ice-cream Deficiency Syndrome and Caffeine Deficiency Syndrome?
Most recent answer
Rather than causing strife, Chocolate Deficiency Syndrome likely causes lethargy and lack of motivation. The great exploration of the world in the 18th and 19th centuries might never have happened without the motivation to locate ad distribute increasing supplies of chocolate. Thus, chocolate may have a problematical connection to colonialism. ☹

It appears that you have at least a Masters' degree in Crave-ology, which I suspect you earned in the course of your other studies. Interesting that part of our system wants sweets/fats, and another part seems to become at least psychologically dependent on a mild alkaloid stimulant. Certainly, too much of either can be life-threatening; but also interesting- many of us seem to claim that we would be willing to push that limit. Thankfully, few actually do.
