About the lab

My research group investigates nuclear receptor (NR) biology in health and disease. We have particular interest in how NR signals are integrated, how the inflammatory cellular microenvironment influences their processing and how altered NR function drives cancer. Using a combination of in vitro models, pre-clinical in-vivo systems and ex-vivo human tissues, the aim of our research is to identify new therapeutic approaches to more effectively target NRs.
