About the lab
The Val.Es.Co. Research Group focuses its research on spoken, conversational language. This group has its own corpus (Corpus Val.Es.Co. 2.0), and a new corpus of American Spanish conversations (Corpus Ameresco). The current reseach lines include orality, politeness, discourse markers, prosody, mitigation and intensification, and grammaticalization. The research group GRIALE is linked to Val.Es.Co, as its leading researcher, Leonor Ruiz Gurillo, is also a member of the Val.Es.Co. research group.
