In this study 100 biopsies were taken from the endometrium of childbearing women (18-50 yrs. of age) suffering from abnormal vaginal bleeding from Jan 2019-Dec 2019. Endometrial Biopsy (EB) is safe, an outpatient procedure, low cost, carries out without general anesthesia & the incidence of hemorrhage, infection & uterine perforation are less common than with D&C. EB is an alternative to dilatation & curette (D&C) for the evaluation of infertile & abnormal vaginal bleeding or dysmenorrheic patients. There are two main groups of causes to irregular vaginal bleeding. 1. Organic disease (74% of the cases), in this group there are obvious lesion such as, endometrial polyp, endometrial hyperplasia & chronic endometritis. The most common cause was endometrial hyperplasia 48%, it is commonly seen during the perimenopausal period (40-50yr). Less common causes include chronic endometritis 8%, hydatidiform mole 7%, and endometrial polyp 7%. 2. non-organic disease comprises 19% of all cases, anovulatory period 13% or Luteal phase insufficiency 6%. They are commonly seen from age of 18-40yrs. 6% of the cases found to have normal endometrium. 5 endometrial biopsies were inadequate & unsatisfactory for histopathological interpretation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the usefulness & disadvantages of EB & to compare it with the traditional method of endometrial curette.

Vitexin was isolated and identified from pods of prosopis farcta (Iraqi endogenous). In vitro and in vivo cardiovascular actions of vitexin were studied. Vitexin produced positive inotropic effect which was not related to B1 adrenergic receptor activation. Vitexin has a vasodilator activities and it could reverse thevasoconstrictor response of isolated pulmonary artery to potassium chloride and phenylphrine. Vitexin has produced a significant increase in ejection fraction in volunteers with mild heart failure. Also vitexin has produced a significant increase in urinary flow and urinary sodium and potassium excretions in healthy and mild hypertensive volunteers, it’s significantly reduced mean arterial blood pressure of the mild hypertensive volunteers. The positive inotropic effect of vitexin is most properly related to the inhibition of phosphodiesterase enzyme by vitexin. The vasodilator activities of vitexin could be mostly associated to the increase in cGMP (attributed to phosphodiesterase inhibitory effect of vitexin) and the activation of K+-channels. The diuretic effects of vitexin could be attributed to the inhibition of Na-Cl symporter system in the renal distal tubule. The most likely mechanisms of action of vitexin as a hypotensive compound are through its vasodilator and diuretic effects. So this agent could be a best new antihypertensive drug compared with present antihypertensive drugs which are in the market now. In addition to that vitexin can be used in heart failure as cardiotonic drug

Big data mining and pollution are extremely important issues in todays. An innovative method in this study was used for visually discovering the relationship between pollutant gases by MapReduce. One dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional visualization used to visualize the data, that was processed as an hourly reading for one year from an air quality monitoring station to study the behaviors of pollutant gases distribution, and to show graphically the distribution of one, two, or three gases. The number of readings used in this paper are 8760 hourly readings for each of the five pollutant gases under this study. Pearson correlation used to explore numerically the correlation between the pollutant gases, and eta factor used to evaluate the effect of one gas on the other pollutant gases. We found out by both methods, visually and numerically the same facts that related between the pollutant gasses. The ozone has a moderate negative correlation of value -0.622 with nitrogen dioxide, and weak negative correlation of value -0.248 with carbon monoxide, and -0.155 with carbon dioxide. Ozone has approximately no correlation of value .060 with silver dioxide. The carbon monoxide has moderate positive correlation of value 0.364 with carbon dioxide. The eta factor between ozone and nitrogen dioxide is very weak of values 0.292, and 0.009 with Sulphur dioxide, this proved an important fact that the ozone, nitrogen dioxide, and Sulphur dioxide sources are different. The study recommends that each country must analysis visually and numerical the big data that was collected yearly from the monitoring stations to control the pollution gases especially near the large industrial factories.

The main objective of this work is to design and simulation of the stand-alone Hybrid Renewable Energy system (HRES), separated from the main local network, the effect of super capacitors when connected to the system, and the effect of power source control system on the response and work of super capacitors. It consists of Photovoltaic, Wind turbine, Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS). The HESS system consist of Batteries, Supper capacitors, with chargers. The proposed system used real record of weather pattern and load conditions for Al-Mahmoudiya Hospital. The variable sources are changing with different weather conditions. Being important energy sources for generating electricity directly from the sun. In order to generate electrical energy that is sustainable and reliable, highly efficient, low cost, and continuous. It can provide maximum power use. The absence of winds in most regions of Iraq permanently led to the use of such a type of renewable energy (RE) system called solar updraft tower (SUT). The wind turbine can be fixed inside the chimney of the SUT, to make the turbine run smoothly and continuously. Each of the HRES parts is controlled by a converter specific to each source due to the nature of the nonlinear source work. In this paper, the main sources of energy are photovoltaic panels and SUT. Finally, MATLAB program using real recorded data, the system work at a high efficiency of 98%. So the simulation results show the HRES system have excellent results and fast tracking to supply the load demand.

Background and objective: Recent clinical trials have shown that metformin improves clinical cardiovascular outcome in type-2 diabetic patients independently of its insulin-sensitizing effect. This study was sought to evaluate the potential cardioprotective effects of metformin on isoproterenol-induced cardiac stress in diabetic and non-diabetic rats. Materials and Methods: Diabetes was induced by using streptozocin (60 mg/kg, i.p.) while non-diabetic rats received saline. Rats in both experimental groups were then randomized to receive different doses of metformin (75, 150, 300 mg/kg i.p.) for 6 weeks. Cardiac stress was induced by isoproterenol (150 mg/kg i.p.) for two successive days. Specific biomarkers of tissue injury, namely brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), cardiac troponin-T (cTn-T), matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), tissue necrotic factor-α (TNF), were assessed. Data were analysed using one-way ANOVA followed by Newman Keuls post hoc test Results: The results showed that metformin significantly limited isoproterenol-induced myocardial injury in both diabetic and non-diabetic rats. Metformin significantly decreased the elevated serum levels of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), cardiac troponin t (cTn-T) which was induced by isoproterenol. It also limited expression of tissue necrotic factor-α (TNF-α) following the cardiac injury in diabetic and non-diabetic rats.

Today's west an east scientists developed synthetic drugs but because of problems of the side effects and high cost in addition to resistant developed which not happened in using natural drugs this push the scientist in all over the world to look for new drugs from natural compounds. In Iraq. Since 1980 up today we started a plan led by scientist in Chemistry ,Pharmacology, Physician ,Biology in all universities & medical research centers and we started to develop anew methods for extraction ,isolation, identication of active constituent and trying the active constituent biologicaly and Pharmacologicaly in invitro and invivo on experimental animals . We started screening of more than thousand plants which indigenous in Iraq and take the knowledge from folkloric physician and old information about these from ancient books and references we found around two hundred promising plants we developed methods of extraction , isolation using chromatography and trying to evaluate their efficacy .We managed to prepare drugs to treat warts from ficus caria vitexin from cratagus azorolus, prosoptatin anew antihyperlipidemic drug from prosopis farcta etc. A new method of isolation and identification by new phytochemical methods and new experimental tool for each active constituent are as example how to separate alkaloids, cardiac glycosides inotropic agents , polyphenoles etc. In addition to bacteriological ,toxi-pathological methods then pass to prepare anew natural drugs prepared with highly sophisticated methods and with highly efficiency which may be better than synthetic drugs and more safe .

Optimization methods are considered as one of the highly developed areas in ArtificialIntelligence (AI). The success of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic Algorithms (GA)has encouraged researchers to develop other methods that can obtain better performance outcomes and tobe more responding to the modern needs. The Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO), and the Krill Herd (KH)are some of those methods that showed a great success in different applications in the last few years. In thispaper, we propose a comparative study of using different optimization methods including KH and GWOin order to solve the problem of document feature selection for the classification problem. These methodsare used to model the feature selection problem as a typical optimization method. Due to the complexityand the non-linearity of this kind of problems, it becomes necessary to use some advanced techniques tomake the judgement of which features subset that is optimal to enhance the performance of classificationof text documents. The test results showed the superiority of GWO over the other counterparts using thespecified evaluation measures.

A novel fast and efficient algorithm was proposed that uses the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) as a tool to compute the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Discrete Multiwavelet Transform. The Haar Wavelet Transform and the GHM system are shown to be a special case of the proposed algorithm, where the discrete linear convolution will adapt to achieve the desired approximation and detail coefficients. Assuming that no intermediate coefficients are canceled and no approximations are made, the algorithm will give the exact solution. Hence the proposed algorithm provides an efficient complexity verses accuracy tradeoff. The main advantages of the proposed algorithm is that high band and the low band coefficients can be exploited for several classes of signals resulting in very low computation.

Automatic analysis of facial expressions is rapidly becoming an area of intense interest in computer vision and artificial intelligence research communities. In this paper an approach is presented for facial expression recognition of the six basic prototype expressions (i.e., joy, surprise, anger, sadness, fear, and disgust) based on Facial Action Coding System (FACS). The approach is attempting to utilize a combination of different transforms (Walid let hybrid transform); they consist of Fast Fourier Transform; Radon transform and Multiwavelet transform for the feature extraction. Korhonen Self Organizing Feature Map (SOFM) then used for patterns clustering based on the features obtained from the hybrid transform above. The result shows that the method has very good accuracy in facial expression recognition. However, the proposed method has many promising features that make it interesting. The approach provides a new method of feature extraction in which overcome the problem of the illumination, faces that varies from one individual to another quite considerably due to different age, ethnicity, gender and cosmetic also it does not require a precise normalization and lighting equalization. An average clustering accuracy of 94.8% is achieved for six basic expressions, where different databases had been used for the test of the method.

The approach utilizes the topological ordering patterns produced by Kohonen Self Organizing Map, in which implemented on expression image sequence for each prototype facial expression. The map will compute the topological relationship between the particular expression sequences, starting from the neutral expression to peak. This method tried to find a topological ordering pattern (shape) for each expression; it will not require any pre-processing tedious work such as normalization. The only requirement is that, image background must be kept constant, also with non-rigid head motion. The feature extraction phase had been performed by this method, while the classification phase done by especially designed procedures for shape and direction finding to recognize the pattern of the shape, thereafter the type of the expression also backpropagation neural network is implemented for the classification task. An average recognition rate of 88.7% was achieved for six basic expressions, where different databases had been used for the test of the method.

measure the cognitive flexibility of middle school students. The study sample consisted of (400) students from the preparatory stage of the Directorate education of Baghdad Karkh third was chosen in a simple random way. The two researchers adopted a measure of cognitive flexibility according to Spiro (1988) Consisting of (30) paragraph consisting of two areas, namely, spontaneous responses and adaptive responses. The results showed that middle school students have knowledge flexibility as well as the absence of differences in cognitive flexibility depending on gender variable.
