In this paper we discuss the variety of planar spiral segments and their applications in objects in both the real and artificial world. The discussed curves with monotonic curvature function are well-known in geometric modelling and computer aided geometric design as fair curves, and they are very significant in aesthetic shape modelling. Fair curve segments are used for two-point G1 and G2 Hermite interpolation, as well as for generating aesthetic splines.

The article deals with the Soviet and Russian approaches to the study of anti-Soviet (basmaches') movement in Central Asia in 1920–1930s and compared the historiographical concepts. Keywords: anti-Soviet movement, Central Asia, basmachestvo, historiographical approach.

Student 6-th course 2 Sochi State University for Tourism and Recreation Sovetskaya street 26a, Sochi city, Krasnodar Krai, 354000, Russia PhD (History), associate professor The article presents some aspects of All-Union Sochi Resort quick pace construction in 1930s. Special attention is attached to official ideology and realities. Keywords: quick pace construction, ideology, Sochi, All-Union resort.

Resort city transport system is one of main indicators of resort attractiveness. The article examines project activity of transport system development in 1950s and attempts of its implementation. Keywords: transport system, Sochi city, 1950s, project.

A Water Quality Index (WQI) is a numeric expression used to evaluate the quality of water bodies and make it easier understood by managers. This paper aims to assess water quality of Drina River in Serbia for the 2004 – 2011 period. For this purpose authors applied: Serbian Water Quality Index (SWQI). WQI value is dimensionless, single number ranging from 0 to 100 (best quality) derived from numerous physical, chemical, biological and microbiological parameters. For the Drina River SWQI was mainly rated as excellent. This study shows a clear decrease in water quality during summer period. Additionaly, this study shows that water quality along Drina River decreases slightly downstream, but it still provides values that according to SWQI descriptive quality indicator have been defined as excellent (90–100). This methodology includes parameters for assessment of organic loading, but does not involve parameters of heavy metals concentration.

The article is focused on the activities of the White Legion broadcaster station and the establishment of the White Legion Organizations in Slovakia. The key role in these activities was played by the anti-communist protagonists of the White Legion broadcasting station from abroad, but some of the White Legion Organizations were designed also by the Czechoslovakian Secret Police as an act of provocation. Keywords: The White Legion Organizations in Slovakia; anti-communist activities in Slovakia; The Czechoslovakian Secret Police. What was the White Legion? The White Legion constituted one of the longest-enduring manifestations of anti-communist resistance. It operated from Austria and coordinated activities in Slovakia mainly from 1950–1955; however, its influence persisted until the 1960s. It applied unorthodox methods of resistance that emphasized the psychological preparation of people, and thus it threatened the Achilles' heel of the totalitarian regime and eventually turned out to be the most effective tool in the inner disintegration of the regime. The White Legion's broadcaster was the first of its kind; broadcasters Slobodná Európa (Free Europe) and Hlas Ameriky (Voice of America) only started broadcasting one year later. During the State Security's largest raid against the White Legion from 1951-1952, the state presented the White Legion as a mass paramilitary terrorist organization controlled by its broadcaster abroad. This is documented by the many archived records of the White Legion that contain many photocopies of the legion's organizational procedure, identification cards of its members, application forms with oaths and most important, a huge list of confiscated arms [1]. However, this is at odds with the ambitions of the founders of the White Legion broadcaster, especially their main protagonist Jozef Vicen [2] and his way of presenting it in the directives of the White Legion in December 1949. It is also at odds with the archived records of the broadcasted programs (so-called Bulletin 1 and 2). According to these sources there was no armed or terrorist resistance movement, nor were there radio programs that incited people to resistance. They speak of the White Legion as of some sort of resistance against the communist regime; however, it was an unorganized, uncontrolled and rather passive resistance against the orders of the totalitarian power. The creation of the movement was a reaction to the broadcasted programs that created a spirit of fellowship among the people and the need for mutual help as a means defence of their rights in times of communist terror. A conscious rejection of an organized resistance was explained by the fact that all forms of movements and organizations were sooner or later discovered by the State Security. The foreign broadcaster was supposed to substitute for the missing resistance movements. Its aim was to address people individually and at the same time try to organize their resistance activities.

In this work we studied the physical activities of 1082 pupils in primary schools that were analysed using questionnaires and then evaluated from a perspective of municipal and rural schools as well as from the perspective of the regions the pupils come from. The results were analysed using the TAP programme developed by the GAMO Company in Banská Bystrica. Our survey shows that during the working week almost 20 % of boys perform some physical activities within a time-scale of more than 5 hours a day. In terms of the preference of physical activities, collective sports prevail considerably over individual ones – almost 50 % of all responses. The sports activities offered at schools or in a place of residence are actively performed by less than 14 % of boys.

Experimental justification of ‗sandwich' model self-regulation structure and possibilities of finger gymnastics and mental training combination use to improve psychological readiness to work (target shooting case study).

The calculation modeling of concrete structures is shown. Function model allows more exact (as compared with traditional design diagrams) mode determination of deformation characteristics of construction in all stages of process.

Temporal transspective is understood as ability to connect in whole image of the past, present and future. The article shows the results of a comparative study of temporal transspective of adolescents, whose personality formation takes place in different living conditions. Participants were 50 adolescents without parental support (experimental group) and 60 adolescents brought up in a family (control group). The research showed that temporal transspective of adolescents without parental support has not only peculiarities as gap between important events in the past, present and future, but as well such characteristics of their personalities as lack of confidence, ambivalency, anxiety, pessimism, moreover, motivation limited by nearest future.

Average quantity of significant events in five-year periods of life The responses of adolescents outbred, by procedure "Assessing five-year periods of life", did not show statistically significant relation of significant events quantity in the present and future. In assessments of adolescents of the control group, the number of significant events in the present and future, statistically significant relationships by Pearson (χ 2 0.05 = 4.51; v=1) and by Spearman criteria (rs = 0.38, n=60; р=0,01), were obtained. Consequently, teenagers left without family, underestimate the potential that the present has, to prepare positive events in the future. Teenagers without parental support, predict a twice shorter period of their lives full of significant events compared to adolescents brought up in a family. Confirmation lies in the estimation reduction (below the median, Md = 5,4) of number of significant events in future of teenagers outbred, already after the age of 40. Teenagers who live in a family, " postpone " such a change in their lives to 70 years. In addition, estimates of teenagers of the experimental group of number of significant events in life periods from 16 to 70 years and from 70 to 100 years (old age) did not show statistically significant relations. Whereas adolescents of the control group showed statistically significant correlations by Pearson (χ 2 0.01 = 7.38; v=1) and by Spearman (rs = 0.51, n=50; р=0,01) criteria in the estimates of number of significant events in life periods from 16 to 70 years and from 70 to 100 years (old age). Thus, adolescents without family support have quantity of significant events life period from 16 to 70 years less related to quantity of significant events that may be in their life period from 70 to 100. One can assume that adolescents without parental support are not inclined to consider the significant events of their adult lives as the basis of their well-being and activity at their old age. Were obtained statistically significant differences in responses of the subjects of the experimental and control groups that reflected their attitude to the past, present and future (χ 2 0.01 = 18.95; v = 1) by procedure "Diagnostics of attitude to the past, present and future". Most teenagers of the experimental group (54%) show dominant contradictory attitude to the past, present and future, which is usually characterized by inconformity, a gap between them. While most adolescents in the control group (87%) show dominant realistic, optimistic, consistent view of the past and future. Realistic, optimistic, consistent representation of the past and future is a favorable factor of full personality development in adolescence. Thus, adolescents without parental support do not have the number of significant life events in different chronological periods in the past, present and future, connected. Meanwhile, the researchers note that one of the forms of unfavorable of the adolescent's personality development is an option when the past, present and future are isolated from each other. At present, the

The purpose of writing this paper is to explore the understanding of advertisement and its impact on young consumers. Also it was discussed that how this impact if it is negative can be neutralized. It has been identified after conducting in depth interviews that all respondents were of the opinion that advertisement is a source of communication. In addition to this all respondents are agreed that it has positive as well as negative effects on both children and young adults. Negative impacts can be diluted by advertisers, parents, government and neighbours.

The relevance of this article is determined by necessity of consideration of the metalanguage, which is considered a language that expresses the hidden meaning of advertising through natural language, from the point of view of linguistic analysis in the synergy aspect as a main tool used by the metalanguage in the process of representation created in the framework of this direction terminology. The article creates a lexical reservoir used on the respective orientation, which detects the connection with the language phenomena and the facts in our case in advertising. Formed the language of "second order", which is the object of the natural language in all its manifestations. The new synergetic way of thinking in the meta-language of advertising is nonlinear, and evolutionary. This is the current stage of development of linguistics as an attempt of system description meta-language of advertising and its effects on customers are different segments of the population, that is, a synergistic perception of the content of advertising texts in English and their components.
