Job description
Bang Research group at North Carolina Central University has an open position for a NSF Postdoctoral Fellow. The group investigates critical mechanisms related to ROS life cycle and inflammation at neuronal cells. The group uses Alzheimer’s disease as a disease model and focuses on antibody induced protein aggregation.
Desired skills and experience
Anticipated routine tasks for this position include:
1) Cell culture
2) ELISA with selected groups of proteins, Western blot & Confocal analysis
3) Characterization of quantum dots and engineered nanoparticles (as needed)
4) Data collection/saving and analysis with PI
5) Presentation and publication of study outcomes with PI
