Position Summary

Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining best-fit technical solutions to meet the business needs of the department, focused on integrating software, data, and collective experiences to provide better patient care, pave the path to new discoveries, and teach the future of medicine.


Job Responsibilities

· Gathers user requirements; designs, researches, implements and maintains software solutions.

· Collaborates within the division to design and launch new features.

· Brings projects from the design phase to a stable production release that can scale.


Education

· Bachelor's Degree in related field.


Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

· Approximately 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.

· Proficient with at least one front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, Ember.

· Proficient at back-end server-side programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C# and Node.js.

· Experience on building RESTful APIs, and Graph.

· Experience with cloud deployment to at least one cloud provider, preferably GCP.

· Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.

· Experience working with source control (Git preferred) and participating in Agile (Scrum) development.

· Exposure to DevOps: Docker, continuous integration, automated testing.

· Kubernetes experience a plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

· Willingness to tackle any challenge, even if not directly relevant to core competencies.

· Ability to adjust to business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies.
