The incumbent will serve as an academic,  clinical and educational leader charged with organizing, directing and  expanding the clinical and research efforts for an established team of  sarcoma clinicians and researchers. Responsibilities include faculty  recruitment, oversight and mentorship of faculty and trainees on the  sarcoma oncology team, and oversight of clinical care delivery on the  sarcoma oncology service.

The remainder of the incumbent’s time will be  protected for research, administrative oversight of the Fred Hutch sarcoma clinical and research programs, teaching  and mentorship, for the first three years, after which, the incumbent  would be expected to cover at least half of their salary each year  through grants, contracts, or clinical work.

Strong candidates will demonstrate evidence of both leadership and clinical excellence in sarcoma.
