Precision Medicine has made significant inroads in the management of patients around the world, mainly in oncology. As autoimmunologists we truly believe there is a strong need for Precision Medicine approaches that can improve the care of individuals with autoimmune diseases, or even lead to disease prevention.
To help address this unmet need, we have created the Precision Medicine in Autoimmunity (PMA) conference that in its inaugural event will focus on the utilization of autoantibodies, other biomarkers and data sources (e.g. companion diagnostics) for Precision Medicine in three disease areas: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and the Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS). This meeting will consist of State-of-the-Art presentations and panel discussions that are provided by world experts in autoimmune disorders, including diagnosis and treatment.
