Jenis anak slow learner dapat diartikan sebagai anak yang terlambat mengenai persoalan pembelajaran seperti terlambat dalam membaca, menulis, menghitung, dan lain-lain. Lalu dalam kemampuan pengetahuan atau kognitifnya juga jauh dibawah anak yang pada umumnya dan memiliki kriteria IQ yang rendah. Sehingga anak slow learner membutuhkan bimbingan belajar yang khusus namun peluangnya tidak dibedakan dengan anak reguler lainnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka peneliti melakukan penelitian di MI Badrussalam dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dan hasil yang penelitian lakukan dengan metode tersebut telah menemukan 2 anak yang terdiagnosis slow learner di MI Badrussalam kelas 6. Dua anak slow learner tersebut telah memiliki keterlambatan dalam hal membaca dan menulis sehingga dari MI badrussalam sendiri telah melakukan upaya untuk 2 anak slow learner tersebut dengan melalui program klink pintar. Dari program klinik pintar yang ada di MI Badrussalam telah menghasilkan perkembangan untuk 2 anak slow learner tersebut. Sehingga orang tua dan guru sangat bersyukur karena 2 anak slow learner tersebut sudah bisa berkembang dalam membaca dan menulis dengan mengikuti klinik pintar. Jadi dengan adanya klinik pintar bisa menghasilkan pengaruh untuk anak-anak yang terlambat dalam belajar atau yang disebut anak slow learner.
