... various goals and strategies are synergistic, they drive one another (i.e., interacting gears can move forward simultaneously); when they are incompatible, their movement is mutually limiting (i.e., forward motion of one gear deters forward motion of another). In Figure 1, synergistic movements for some goals and strategies in Table 1 are visualized by two sets of gears, and incompatible movement is visualized by the gears in Figure 2. As with other parts of the digital world, assessing the information presented by the impact universe framework must be done by humans. ...

... The AI integration in small airports focuses on harnessing opportunities in reliability, safety, and comfortability through IoT (Torens, 2020). The initial stage of AI incepted as IoT, sustains much attention on aircraft safety operations such as takeoffs, refueling, landing, and passenger standard services in boarding or disembarking (Berman et al., 2022). Due to the demand for aviation services, agile airports integrate IoT for flexibility and adjusting workloads. ...
Thesis
This research delves into the intersection of AI integration and aviation safety, highlighting benefits in efficiency, risk reduction, and human error mitigation alongside emerging vulnerabilities and cybersecurity issues. Key areas examined include resilience strategies, ethical considerations, regulatory challenges, and knowledge transfer programs. The study underscores that robust cybersecurity measures are essential while AI enhances decision-making and operations. Resilience strategies must address biases, interpretability, and ongoing learning. Ethical concerns such as fairness and transparency are crucial to counter biases and privacy risks. Regulatory frameworks need adaptation for safe and ethical AI integration. The findings stress a holistic approach balancing technical, ethical, regulatory, and human aspects. Recommendations include robust resilience strategies, ethical prioritization, collaboration with regulators, cybersecurity awareness, and knowledge transfer programs. Proactive measures can empower the aviation industry to leverage AI effectively while ensuring safety and efficiency.
... The seamless and independent interoperation of these cloud-based systems makes it more feasible for on-site devices to meet the hardware requirements for their respective applications. Different technologies for wireless communication are available depending on some factors like the availability of internet connection, power supply, and geographical location [13]. Hangan et al. [45] pointed out that a common solution for water supply monitoring systems is the use of LoRaWAM networks for low-power and medium-long-distance communication. ...

In this paper, the authors used LabView to design a sensor-based module and analyse it for an accident prevention system. For the purpose of forecasting potential combinations of accident occurrence, various sensor nodes are integrated into a single system. A LabView-based simulation has been performed to address additional potential conditions after a real-time hardware module with a constrained number of sensors was used to examine various conditions. With the help of an IoT interface, this design will allow a new model in the vehicular communication system to identify different accident occurrences and provide the relevant information to the underprivileged. The proposed model will cover all potential combinations, provide comparative analysis between low- and high-end vehicles, and provide a strategic framework for IoT-enabled vehicular communication systems in the future.

Using the innovative Emergency Alert and Social Media Engagement Test (EASE Test), this study examines how the dynamics of emergency communication are changing and how conventional emergency alerts and social media engagement may work together. The results of the data analysis show that participants' alarm reaction efficacy varied, depending on things like alert clarity and personal readiness. The research highlights the potential of social media platforms as dynamic centers for information exchange by revealing varying degrees of involvement under simulated emergency circumstances. Furthermore, it is shown that social media participation is positively correlated with alert reactions that are more successful, highlighting the function of social media in improving response preparedness. Qualitative information obtained from participant interviews clarifies the potential and challenges in this interaction. In light of the potential for improved public safety, situational awareness, and catastrophe resilience in the digital age, this study supports an integrated strategy.
