... 9 Today it contains seven species and belongs to the family Mycenaceae, 10 even though the evaluation of is genetic boundaries still remains to be clarified. 11,12 In this paper we report the isolation and structure elucidation of the novel heimiomycins A−C, featuring a calamenene moiety connected to a hydroxystyryl-pyranone moiety. These compounds also represent the first secondary metabolites reported from this genus. ...
Three previously undescribed compounds named heimiomycin A−C (1−3), featuring a unique scaffold with calamenene connected to a hydroxystyryl-pyranone moiety, along with the new calamenene derivatives 4 and 5 and phenanthridine derivative (6) were obtained from a culture of a Heimiomyces sp. This is the first report of the occurrence of calamenene-type terpenoids in fungi. Compound 3 exhibited antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Mucor hiemalis. Compounds 1 and 3 displayed moderate cytotoxicity against KB 3.1 and L929 cell lines, respectively.
... The genus Xeromphalina Kühner et Maire includes a small group of fungi with only nine European species (ANTONÍN & NOORDELOOS 2004, ESTEVE-RAVENTÓS et al. 2010. Its taxonomic position is somewhat unclear. ...
... The recently described X. setulipes Esteve-Rav. et G. Moreno, known to date only from its type locality in Spain (ESTEVE-RAVENTÓS et al. 2010), is also macroscopically similar. It has, however, a dark red-brown to chocolate-brown pileus, tobacco-brown lamellae, a dark purplish brown stipe, hyphae turning dark reddish-brown in KOH, and ± simple, not coralloid caulocystidia. ...

... After a 15min centrifugation at the same speed, the pellet was washed with cold ethanol 70%, centrifugated again for 5 min and dried at 37°C. Finally, it was resuspended in 150 μl of sterile ddH 2 O. PCR amplification and further purification were performed as described in previous works (Esteve-Raventós et al. 2010). The primers LR1 (Van Tuinen et al. 1998) and LR7 (Vilgalys and Hester 1990) were used to amplify and sequence the 28S nuclear large ribosomal region, while EF1-983 F and EF-2218R (Rehner and Buckley 2005) were used to amplify a partial region of the elongation factor 1-alpha gene. ...
The new species Amplistroma longicollis is described. It is characterized by pale to dark brown stromata covered with white mucilaginous exudates and rostrate long-necked perithecia, which also present mucilaginous exudates at the base. Its relationship with other species of the genera Amplistroma in the Amplistromataceae is studied with morphological, cultural and molecular sequence data of large subunit ribosomal DNA (28S rDNA) and elongation factor 1-alpha gene (ef1-alpha).

ABSTRACT In this article previous studies on the micobiota associated with a cistus maquis of Cistus ladanifer located in the municipality of A Rúa de Valdeorras (Ourense, Galicia, Spain, NW Iberian Peninsula) are extended, with the records and descriptions of 7 new taxa of the phylum Basidiomycota: Agrocybe pediades, Cystodermella cinnabarina, Deconica montana, Lycoperdon perlatum, Paxillus ammoniavirescens, Pisolithus calongei and Xeromphalina setulipes, being the last three first records for Galicia.
The Basidiomycota constitutes a major phylum of the kingdom Fungi and is second in species numbers to the Ascomycota. The present work provides an overview of all validly published, currently used basidiomycete genera to date in a single document. An outline of all genera of Basidiomycota is provided, which includes 1928 currently used genera names, with 1263 synonyms, which are distributed in 241 families, 68 orders, 18 classes and four subphyla. We provide brief notes for each accepted genus including information on classification, number of accepted species, type species, life mode, habitat, distribution, and sequence information. Furthermore, three phylogenetic analyses with combined LSU, SSU, 5.8s, rpb1, rpb2, and ef1 datasets for the subphyla Agaricomycotina, Pucciniomycotina and Ustilaginomycotina are conducted, respectively. Divergence time estimates are provided to the family level with 632 species from 62 orders, 168 families and 605 genera. Our study indicates that the divergence times of the subphyla in Basidiomycota are 406–430 Mya, classes are 211–383 Mya, and orders are 99–323 Mya, which are largely consistent with previous studies. In this study, all phylogenetically supported families were dated, with the families of Agaricomycotina diverging from 27–178 Mya, Pucciniomycotina from 85–222 Mya, and Ustilaginomycotina from 79–177 Mya. Divergence times as additional criterion in ranking provide additional evidence to resolve taxonomic problems in the Basidiomycota taxonomic system, and also provide a better understanding of their phylogeny and evolution.
aerinum, Calocybella pudica, Inocybe phaeoleuca var. grandispora, Pseudolaccaria pachypylla y
Xeromphalina setulipes.
