We show that gravitational waves can act as waveguides for electromagnetic radiation, that is if the latter is initially aligned with the gravitational waves, then the alignment will survive during the propagation. The analysis is performed using the Hamiltonian formalism and the Jacobi equation for null geodesics and conditions for certain cases o...
This article presents an analysis of the use of Hands-on-Tec strategy (hands on technology) and use of a simulator developed by the University of Colorado, USA, at teaching concepts of electromagnetic radiation to high school students. The study was made while conducting an educational workshop to high school students in a public school in the city...
More than 100 years after their discoveries, cosmic rays have been extensively studied, both with balloon experiments and with ground observatories. More recently, the possibility of mounting detectors on satellites or on the International Space Station has allowed for a long duration (several years) continuous observation of primary cosmic rays, i...

In this work we performed analytical calculations of the velocity gradient movement effect of the Earth's atmosphere on a trajectory curvature and the angular deviation of the laser beam with reference to the problem of coordinates determining of spacecraft. It is shown that the effects of electrodynamics of moving media should have an impact on global space navigation systems.
