Abstract— Power sharing control and voltage regulation are considered as significant challenges in the development of large MT VSC-HVDC transmission grids, besides fault ride through and automatic restoration aspects. The main contribution of the work presented in this research is the proposal of a generic power sharing control algorithm. This algo...

In low-carbon energy systems, due to the high proportion of renewable energy access, the voltage regulation capacity of the system will decrease. Therefore, in the event of voltage violation, it is easy to cause large-scale renewable energy off-grid and power outages. In order to improve the voltage regulation ability of low-carbon energy system, t...
High penetration of wind energy into the network may introduce stability and power quality problems due to the uctuating nature of the wind and the increasing complexity of the power system. This paper describes a novel approach to voltage and power control of a radial electrical distribution network, using a wind farm. The wind farm consists of se...

... However, there are benefits and drawbacks to every available interfacing option. If we compare the AC interfacing option with the DC interfacing option, we can roughly say that the AC interfacing option is preferable when the distance between the renewable source and the AC systems is small, as this results in less reactive power flowing due to less capacitance in the transmission lines [7,8]. As an added bonus, the skin effect would be mitigated in the distribution system compared to the transmission level. ...

Developed and implemented advanced control strategies for AC microgrids, with a focus on power converter control methods to ensure reliable operation under diverse conditions. A virtual impedance-based droop control solution was designed to address power-sharing challenges between unequally rated distributed generation (DG) inverters, minimizing circulating currents and ensuring accurate power distribution. This solution was validated using MATLAB/Simulink and OPAL-RT real-time simulation environments.
For prosumer-based microgrids, a peer-to-peer control technique was introduced to facilitate energy trading, enabling prosumers to act as both energy producers and consumers. This control method utilized distributed droop control to balance local demand and generation, combined with a gossip-based communication protocol to correct voltage and frequency deviations, improving system stability and power-sharing accuracy.
A synch-invulnerable multi-master-slave control method was also developed to ensure reliable synchronization of distributed energy resources (DERs), incorporating a synch selector mechanism to address failures in master units.
Additionally, a distributed and centralized hierarchical control system for hybrid microgrids, integrating energy storage systems (ESS) and renewable energy sources (RES) like wind and solar, was validated in real-time using Typhoon HIL. This system ensured stable operation in both islanded and grid-connected modes, enhancing microgrid performance under dynamic conditions.
... Aspects, such as loss minimization [14], or maintenance of constant DC load flows [15] are neglected. The proposed parameterization of the local DC voltage control supersedes subordinated and communication-based control-instances, such as [16] and [17], regarding the described steady state aspects. The overall approach is based on a particle swarm optimization (PSO) of the p-v-function parameters, an N-1analysis and an advanced AC-DC-power flow algorithm, as described in section III. ...
... These values relate to the inequality constraints (11)(12), which are zero if any line is not overloaded. (17) The described optimization process is solved by a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm, which was first proposed by Kennedy and Eberhart [27]. Thereby, the socalled 'particles' fly around in a search space of a multidimensional problem. ...
Leisure tourism is developed in full swing in China at present, but the phenomenon of homogenization is widespread. The special landscape plot in western Sichuan forest district is selected in the paper. A suburb tourism development plan strategy suitable for characteristics in western Sichuan for eign disc is discussed through summarizing characteristics of western Sichuan forest district, actual plot and market situation. Suburb leisure tourism development in Sichuan Xinjin Huayuan Town is applied as an example for description, thereby providing reference for suburb leisure tourism development in western Sichuan forest disc and even suburb tourism development in the whole country.
