Hybrid e-bike system is a bicycle included electric hub motor used to aid propulsion. A solar package with main components is built with it. This study included the travelled distance divided by time under only the batteries and batteries with photovoltaic (PV) modules (at different hours during the day). A comparison between two methods is made and documented in this paper. The paper aims to captivate the fettle and experiences with the use of e-bike. Commuting distance per hour was approximately 6.8 km/h. The current limitations must not exceed (10.4 A) and the big challenge, no shading plops on solar panels due to rider. Finally, depending on the solar irradiance with time curve, hybrid e-bike gave longer travelled distance with respect to time as compared with the batteries case study.

The Iraqi generated power less than loads requirements, these lead us to investigate and analyzing other energy resources to fill the gap between generated power and demand. Solar energy is more available and possible to use at the residential units for local loads and inject the excess power into the utility grid. In this paper, we present modeling and real-time analysis of the 1 2. 6kW Grid-connected PV system installed inside the solar energy laboratory at Northern Technical University. The study involved monitored data for march 2021 and the Simulink model used to analyze the performance of the PV system under non-uniform solar irradiance and grid disturbance. Particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) is adopted in the structure of the maximum power point tracking (MPPT).The obtained results evidenced that the system succeeds withstand different operational conditions and generate high quality power with the PV array efficiency of 17.4%, the MPPT efficiency 98.2%, and inverter efficiency 90.5%.
