Deploying a web of CCTV cameras for surveillance has become an integral part of any smart city’s security procedure. This, however, has led to a steady increase in the number of cameras being deployed. These cameras generate a large amount of data, which needs to be further analyzed. Our next step is to achieve a network of cameras spread across a city that does not require any human assistance to detect, recognize and track a person. This paper incorporates various algorithmic techniques used in order to make surveillance systems and their use cases so as to enable less human intervention dependent as much as possible. Even though many of these methods do carry out the task graciously, there are still quite a few obstructions such as computational resources required for model building, training time for the models, and many more issues that hinder the process and hence, constrain the possibility of easy implementation. In this paper, we also intend to shift the paradigm by providing evidence toward the use of technologies like Fog computing and edge computing coupled with the surveillance technology trends, which can help to achieve the goal in a sustainable manner with lesser overheads.

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) have revolutionized transportation by integrating advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and convenience. However, the widespread adoption of ITS also raises significant concerns regarding security and privacy. This paper explores the key security and privacy issues in ITS and highlights their potential impact on individuals, organizations, and the overall transportation ecosystem. It is noted that security vulnerabilities in ITS can have severe consequences, ranging from the compromise of personal data to the disruption of critical transportation infrastructure. Cyber-attacks targeting ITS systems can lead to unauthorized access, manipulation of traffic data, vehicle hijacking, and even accidents. Such attacks may be motivated by various factors, including financial gain, sabotage, or simply malicious intent. Consequently, ensuring the security of ITS systems is crucial to prevent potential harm and maintain public trust. Moreover, privacy concerns arise due to the extensive collection, storage, and analysis of data within ITS. The interconnectedness of various components, including vehicles, infrastructure, and mobile applications, generates vast amounts of sensitive information. This includes location data, personal identifiers, travel patterns, and behavioral profiles, which, if mishandled, can result in privacy breaches and misuse. Protecting the privacy of individuals while harnessing the benefits of ITS poses a complex challenge that requires robust privacy frameworks and data protection mechanisms. It was noted that addressing security and privacy issues in ITS demands a multi-faceted approach. It involves implementing secure communication protocols, developing resilient architectures, conducting rigorous security assessments, and establishing proactive incident response mechanisms. Additionally, privacy-enhancing technologies such as data anonymization, encryption, and access controls must be integrated into ITS systems to safeguard personal information and minimize privacy risks. Furthermore, collaboration between stakeholders, including government bodies, transportation authorities, technology providers, and end-users, is essential to foster a comprehensive security and privacy framework for ITS. Regulatory frameworks and industry standards should be established to ensure compliance, encourage best practices, and promote transparency in data handling practices. Educational initiatives and awareness campaigns can also empower users to make informed decisions and understand the potential risks associated with ITS.

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) idea was developed to improve road safety, traffic management efficiency, and environmental preservation. The fog-robotics Based Intelligent Transportation Systems integrate Internet of Vehicles (IoV) devices to Fog Computing (FC) centers, which process the data. On the other hand, providing massive data from widely distant devices causes network overhead and bottlenecks in Autonomous Driving and a drain on Energy Management. To fill this research gap, fog-robotics-based intelligent transportation systems are proposed to cover the line-of-sight direction for path adopting self-directed intelligent transportation. The Intelligent Transportation Systems with FC Techniques work towards the Fog Robotics Platform for making efficient fog-robotics Transportation Systems. To perform under the conditions of digitalization, marketers need understandable, accurate, complete, trustworthy, secure, and discoverable data. In this respect, data governance is a solution approach to greater data literacy, data intelligence and data management. This research aims to explore the current academic state-of-art of data governance in the marketing field. Selected items were evaluated using a descriptive statistical approach to identify investigation trends on this topic. The research found that Marketing can benefit from Data Governance focusing data standard settings, data sources coordination and data management, data quality and data security. This requires a strategy, coordinated processes and their meaningful support by people and information technology. The originality of this research is that the approach is unique at this point, and the assimilation of data governance is a clear sign of manifestation for marketing under conditions of increasing digitalization.

With the growth of national economic strength, urban modernization has become an indispensable part. Among them, urban road traffic congestion has become the main problem affecting work and traffic. Traffic pressure promotes the massive use of Internet of Things and other technologies in the transportation system. The integration of computer, Internet of Things and transportation system forms a new intelligent transportation concept. With the advent of intelligent information society, the application of intelligent transportation is imminent. In view of the shortcomings of urban intelligent transportation, this paper uses Internet of Things technology and big data technology to study it. Firstly, it analyzes the function and value of IoT intelligent transportation, analyzes the system components from the construction principle, and makes full use of intelligent technology to improve the transportation system. Secondly, the optimal path algorithm is proposed in the IoT urban intelligent transportation system model. The advantages and disadvantages of genetic algorithm and heuristic algorithm are analyzed, and ant colony algorithm is used for further optimization. In order to verify the feasibility of the intelligent transportation system, technologies such as big data edge computing are also used to comprehensively evaluate and study the use of the system. Finally, we analyze the results of the practical application of the intelligent transportation system under the Internet of Things technology. The research results show that the urban intelligent transportation system, supported by the Internet of Things technology, can realize the dynamic planning of the optimal route, help the people to improve their driving experience in the high safety and intellectualization, and greatly avoid a series of problems caused by congestion.

Online, mobile, social: Digitization is changing media use. Regarding this fundamental change customers prefer digital communication channels. As a result, customers leave behind permanent digital traces. With the increased online activity of customers, there is a newer discipline in Marketing to analyze the resulting data - in addition to their classic tasks. Data is a precious commodity and as such it deserves its own responsibilities, methods and organization, orchestered in a holistic approach called Data Governance. The primary objective of this paper is to take a closer look on Data Governance regarding the current evidence and further challenges in the Marketing field. In this context, we conduct a literature review on our objective. The results of our investigation show that Data Governance has great potential for developing a systematic and integrative view on Marketing data. The focus here is on setting data standards, coordinating data sources and data management, data quality, and compliance with regulatory standards, such as data protection and data security. In particular, this requires a strategy, coordinated processes aligned with the strategy, and their implementation in a meaningful combination of people and machines (resources) as a socio-technical system. Not to be missed throughout all phases of Data Governance: ethical considerations must be integrated. In the end we have to note that further investigation will be neccessary in order to clearly define the concequences of Data Governance on further action fields concerning internal and external Marketing.

We present a systematic literature review based on bibliometric analysis to clarify the role of data governance in sustainable development. We made a concept-centric review of 35 relevant papers (out of an initial set of 2214) selected from Scopus and Web of Science and classified them into (1) sector-specific, (2) causal relationships and approaches, (3) data accessibility for sustainable development, and (4) smart contexts. Our contribution includes a conceptual framework for sustainable data governance in product lifecycles. Pursuing data-driven sustainability requires actions in structure, processes, and relational mechanisms. Data attributes (e.g., privacy, immutability, permissions, fairness), scope of data to be covered, and supporting technology are increasingly important to reduce all forms of waste while ensuring a long-term strategy to generate sustainable value from data.

The current work aims to identify the perspectives from which scholars have studied the link between the citizens’ involvement in the use of Open Government Data (OGD) and the creation of social value to solve local issues in cities as the expected result. Recent studies have concentrated on studying the barriers and conditions of using OGD by focusing on specific types and users’ motivations. Researchers have found that the critical problem of Open Data initiatives is the lack of utilization. Therefore, to allow more rigorous empirical research to assess if the estimated effects of OGD are measurable, there is a need to investigate the link between the types of users and the potential type of effects, that for this proposal is the creation of social value. The study adopted a systematic literature review to map the most current work addressing the utilization of OGD to create social value within different domains. Forty-six records were identified and characterized into four categories of studies: i) Governance - the interconnection of aspects that allow managing and using OGD; ii) Availability- aspects limiting OGD access and re-use; iii) Adoption - aspects that enable the acceptance or rejection of OGD; and iv) Impact - capacity to solve social problems. The Chinese government regards the night-time economy as one of the essential means to expand domestic demand and enhance sustainable economic development. Scientifically choosing the night-time economic development path of the suburban counties of the Chinese metropolis (SCCM) and proposing a reasonable spatial matching planning strategy is an urgent problem for Chinese local governments. This study takes Anning county, a suburban Kunming metropolitan area, as the research area. Using Python to capture multi-spatial data, such as POI and Baidu heatmap, we use ArcGIS spatial analysis and statistical tools to show the spatial distribution characteristics of the night-time economic formats in Anning County. At the same time, the spatial coupling coordination model is used to calculate the coupling coordination degree of the night-time economic formats distribution and comprehensive traffic distribution (D1), night-time economic formats distribution and night-crowd vitality (D2), and the spatial coupling coordination of the three (D3). It is divided into five spatial matching levels and analyzes the shortage of night-time economic development in each subdistrict. The research results show that the spatial development of the night-time economy in Anning county is unbalanced at the current stage. The northern part of the county has a good development trend, and the Lianran subdistrict has the highest coupling coordination degree (0.995). In contrast, the southern part of the county has the lowest coupling coordination degree due to a lack of economic formats and traffic restrictions (0.115). According to the subdistricts’ differences, the sustainable development strategy of the county’s night-time economy should be formulated from the perspective of the long-term development of metropolitan areas. We hope that this research can provide valuable inspiration and a development reference for relevant countries and regions to stimulate the sustainable power of the night-time economy.
