At each landsli...

... In the late 1930s, in the area referred to in the article, there were 141 tourist hostels, shelters and accommodation bases with, in 1939, nearly 4,200 beds. The development of this area for specialised tourism purposes could be then considered adequate (Quirini-Popławski, 2018). In the years 1914-1918, the outskirts of Morshyn were an arena of hostilities. The resort has come to a complete decline. There were not enough finance in Galician doctors to rebuild its infrastructure. Therefore, immediately after the war, a decision was taken to transfer the Morshyn resort to a Polish joint-stock company "Resorts". Thus began the second period of the development of the resort Morshyn. For the promotion of Morshyn tooks the Society of Physicians of the Polish Galicia (TLPbG) and the Lviv Medical Association (LLT), as well as reputable business organizations: Polish Resorts, the Polish Union of Resorts and Health Resorts, and the Central Resort Information. The strategy of promotion of the health resort, thanks to the initiative of A. Sabatovsky, L. Didinsky, R. Rentsky and M. Orlovich, was first widely discussed at the All-Poland Congress of Resorts and Health Resorts (Lviv, March 25-26, 1920), the All-Polish Resort Congress (Lviv , meeting room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, December 8-9, 1922), the All-Polish Congress of Resorts, Health Resorts and Marine Baths (ibid., February 1-2, 1925). In the cohort of the resorts of the Republic of Poland, Morshyn is positioned as the only health resort on the state on the basis of “solyanka” mineral waters. Due to the investment-building "boom" architectural "face" Morshin has changed dramatically. The pastoral landscape of the private spa resort of B. Stiller dates back to the past, giving way to the modern industrial construction of two-four-story holiday cottages on the model of the best spa facilities of Austria, Germany, and the Czechoslovak Republic. A retrospective analysis of the specifics of rebranding, market re-launch and the establishment of the Morshyn resort in the market of international recreation and recreation services in the 20's of the 20th century was conducted. The main features of the promotion and development of the resort from the private institution of the seasonal type to the multifunctional spa resort center of the international class are considered.
