This study addresses the limited understanding of how Islamic schools strategically apply Total Quality Management (TQM) principles in character education programs. Specifically, this research investigates the implementation of five core TQM principles: involvement of people, customer focus, process approach, continuous improvement, and human resource management in managing flagship character development initiatives at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah QITA. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the principal and teachers, classroom observations, and document analyses of program implementation records. Findings indicate that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah QITA effectively integrates TQM principles through structured daily routines, strong collaboration between teachers and parents, systematic semester-based evaluations, and targeted professional development for educators. The structured implementation of these principles resulted in improved consistency in student character development activities and enhanced program sustainability. This study contributes to existing research by presenting a practical TQM-based model for systematically embedding character education into school culture, which is particularly valuable for Islamic educational institutions. The implementation of TQM principles strengthens the quality and consistency of character education in the madrasah, enhances stakeholder collaboration, and systematically promotes program sustainability. This model can be a reference for other Islamic educational institutions to integrate quality management into effective and sustainable student character development.

Language politeness is a pragmatic topic that can help identify potential presidential candidates in positioning themselves in debates. This study analyzes the application of the principle of linguistic politeness in improving the delivery of speech acts in the debate of the presidential candidates of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024. With a pragmatic approach, the analysis was conducted based on politeness strategies, politeness maxims and linguistic expressions of politeness using data from verbatim debate transcripts. The results showed that Anies Baswedan dominated the Politeness Strategy, particularly through positive politeness to build solidarity and create inclusive communication. Prabowo Subianto dominates in applying the maxim of politeness, especially the maxim of generosity to emphasize commitment to joint solutions. In addition, Prabowo Subianto also dominated the use of Politeness Linguistic Expressions, such as committers and hesitators. This research confirms that the strategic application of language politeness principles can increase the deliverability of speech acts, strengthen the candidate’s image and persuasively influence public opinion in political debates.

Tujuan penelitian. Mengembangkan model pembelajaran pencak silat berbasis kearifan lokal untuk pembentukan karakter pada siswa SB Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran pencak silat berbasis kearifan lokal yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia. Model pembelajaran ini dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal seperti religiusitas, disiplin, kerja keras, dan tanggung jawab dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kontekstual. Bahan dan metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas atas di SB Hulu Langat. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran pencak silat berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa. Model ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan fisik siswa dalam pencak silat, tetapi juga secara signifikan memperkuat karakter mereka dalam hal religiusitas, disiplin, kerja keras, dan tanggung jawab. Kesimpulan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern, sekaligus menjadi solusi strategis untuk mengintegrasikan pembelajaran pencak silat dengan pembentukan karakter siswa dalam lingkungan multikultural. Karena penelitian ini hanya berfokus pada nilai-nilai karakter tertentu, yaitu religius, disiplin, kerja keras, dan tanggung jawab, diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan aspek-aspek penilaian karakter lainnya yang juga penting dalam konteks pendidikan multikultural dan global. This research aims to critically evaluate high school Indonesian language textbooks from the perspective of developing students' creative thinking. The type of research in this study is qualitative. The research design used is a case study. Primary data was obtained directly from Indonesian language textbooks used in high school. Secondary data includes related documents, such as curriculum, textbook development guidelines, and relevant academic literature. The data collection technique is an intensive reading technique. The data analysis technique in this research involves several stages. The first stage is transcription and organizing data. The second stage is thematic analysis. The third stage is data triangulation. The fourth stage is interpretation and preparation of the report. The research results show that this book has been prepared in accordance with national curriculum standards and covers various basic competencies. Several aspects still need to be improved to better support the development of students' creative thinking. The tasks are dominated by mechanical activities, so they do not fully support the development of critical and creative thinking. Apart from that, the relevance of the material to actual issues and students' real lives is still lacking.

One important aspect of learning English in kindergarten is vocabulary mastery, which plays a crucial role in children’s ability to communicate effectively and understand language. However, many children at Aisyiyah Kindergarten in Surakarta, which were observed through purposive sampling, still struggle with vocabulary acquisition. It was found that the learning media, primarily textbooks, focused mostly on activities such as coloring, thickening, and writing letters, without providing sufficient repetition exercises to reinforce vocabulary. This was identified as a significant factor contributing to the challenges children face in retaining vocabulary. The recent research objective was to explore the themes and vocabulary in the textbooks in Surakarta kindergartens. This study specifically sought to examine how well textbooks support the development of vocabulary mastery and whether the content is culturally appropriate and engaging for young learners. The research was conducted using an exploratory qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through document analysis of English textbooks used in Surakarta kindergartens, applying first-order and second-order understanding techniques to identify and categorize themes and vocabulary. The results revealed that the textbooks used in these kindergartens were thematic, with some themes aligning with the Ministry of National Education's guidelines. However, the vocabulary introduced was sometimes disconnected from the children’s everyday experiences and was occasionally culturally inappropriate. While some textbooks included a significant amount of vocabulary, the frequency of repetition exercises was insufficient, with some books lacking repetition altogether.

This research aims to discover: (1) The influence of teacher perceptions about educational standards on teacher performance. (2) The principal's leadership style influences teacher performance. (3) The influence of teachers and the principal's leadership style on teacher performance. This research focuses on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) in West Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung. This research method includes correlational/associative with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Meanwhile, in obtaining the data that has been received, there is an influence of teacher perceptions about educational standards and the principal's leadership style on teacher performance. First, the regression analysis calculated t value reached 2.594, exceeding the t table value of 0.320 with a significance of 0.014, lower than 0.05. In addition, the teacher's perception of educational standards (R Square) is 0.157, showing that the principal's leadership can explain around 15.7% of teacher performance. Second, the regression analysis calculated t value for teacher perceptions reached 3.583, exceeding the t table value of 0.320, with a significance value of 0.001 which is less than 0.05. Third, the magnitude of the influence of teacher perceptions on educational standards is (R Square) 0.263, which indicates that around 26.3% of teacher performance can be explained by teacher professionalism. Third, with the calculated F regression results of 9.437, greater than the value of 3.27, with a significance value of 0.001, less than 0.05. In addition, the influence of teachers' perceptions of educational standards and principals' leadership styles (R Square) of 0.350 indicates around 35% of variation in teacher performance.

The character of Generation Z is facing a significant decline in moral values, presenting the impression of being increasingly unruly. As the next generation responsible for advancing the nation toward a Golden Indonesia, this degradation affects various aspects, including speech, behavior, lifestyle, and education. Character education is currently in decline due to the dominance of media and the rapid progress of science and technology. The challenges facing Generation Z, characterized by the aspiration for a Golden Indonesia, demand a thoughtful approach to address these issues an approach found in the ideas of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This study aims to explore Ki Hajar Dewantara’s thoughts on shaping the character of Generation Z in alignment with the vision of a Golden Indonesia. The research adopts a literature review methodology, gathering data from various sources. The data collection technique involves documentation, specifically collecting relevant library resources. The study is conducted systematically, processing and synthesizing the data to provide conclusions based on the literature. The findings reveal that Ki Hajar Dewantara’s ideas focus on character development through the consideration of educational patterns, teacher and student roles, and methods for instilling character education values in future leaders aligned with the vision of a Golden Indonesia.

The project-based learning model is one of the strategies used to increase student engagement and motivation, especially in supporting the development of character education. However, in its application, project learning faces challenges such as taking a long time, causing students to feel bored, and not all students are fully and evenly active in the learning process. This has an impact on the non-achievement of learning objectives in the development of character education. This study aims to identify the factors needed to improve the quality of project learning implementation for character education development. The strategy analysis used in the study uses external as well as internal factors analysis with SWOT and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The method used in this study is a mixed method with an exploratory sequential design, which collects data qualitatively, namely through interviews and observations, which are then followed by quantitative analysis by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results show that internal factors, namely innovative and digitalized school management, are the main strengths in implementing project learning for character education development. On the other hand, external factors show significant opportunities for driving schools to support this learning while considering external threats. The top priority strategy recommended in character education development is to utilize technology for innovative learning that increases student engagement. This strategy aims to provide space for students to make progress in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The main focus in project learning is to ensure students are actively engaged, so an innovative, technology-based approach is needed that allows students to explore, think critically and develop themselves.

Objective: The objective of this research is to examine the relationship between Islamic education, female literacy, and socioeconomic conditions from 1880 to 2024 through a bibliometric analysis to map the academic landscape, pinpoint important publications, noteworthy authors, important trends, and topic clusters, and offer suggestions for future lines of inquiry. Theoretical Framework: To comprehend the development and present status of research, the study integrates document and network assessment using bibliometric analysis. It is based on theories of socioeconomic development, gender studies, and educational sociology, especially as they relate to Islamic contexts. Method: Employing information from a Boolean query on the Scopus database, a quantitative method is used. R/R-Studio, VOSviewer, and Microsoft Excel are examples of analysis tools. The analysis looks at major publications, prominent writers, theme clusters, geographical spread, and important trends. Results and Discussion: Prominent journals, high-impact publications, and significant contributors are evident from the results. Substantial contributions from Malaysia, the US, and Indonesia-related subjects include female literacy, socioeconomics, and education. Offering insights into policy and educational practices, the debate emphasizes the multidisciplinary aspect of the research and the significance of Islamic education in influencing female literacy and socioeconomic results. Research Implications: The research points up gaps in the literature and recommends topics for more investigation. Researchers and policymakers can use the analysis's insights to help advance female literacy and socioeconomic development within Islamic schools. Originality/Value: Employing a rigorous and historical methodological approach, this study offers a comprehensive assessment of the current status of research in this field. It provides distinctive perspectives and is an invaluable tool for scholars, instructors, and decision-makers.

The urgency of implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and E-Assessment in sermon text learning lies in the need to enhance the relevance of teaching materials to the cultural and religious backgrounds of students while providing more objective and efficient assessments. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of combining CRT and E-Assessment in improving students' competencies at Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam, particularly in sermon text learning. The study employed a qualitative approach with an embedded case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, documentation, and audio-video recordings. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns in teaching and technology-based assessment practices. The results show that CRT enhances the relevance of learning materials to students’ cultural contexts, boosting confidence, participation, and intercultural understanding. Meanwhile, E-Assessment provides a more objective and efficient tool for evaluating sermon texts, particularly in terms of structure, coherence, and language use. However, the study also highlights challenges, such as limitations in assessing the performative aspects of speaking skills and the need for more inclusive material development. The study concludes that the combination of CRT and E-Assessment is effective in supporting students' competency development, although further innovations are needed in technology integration and teacher-student training.
