... CRUISE INDUSTRY NEWS 2020). A radikális növekedési ütem gazdasági hajtóereje elsősorban a küldő országok (Nyugat-Európa -Németország, Észak-Amerika, Ausztrália és Kína) lakosságának magas életszínvonala, valamint az elsődleges fogyasztói szegmens jelentős mértékű szabadideje és turisztikai célokra fordítható jövedelme(VASILEVA 2014, TEŠANOVIĆ et al. 2015. A dunai szállodahajó-turizmus növekvő népszerűségének oka, hogy az egyedi folyami környezet megismerése mellett számos nemzetközi jelentőségű történelmi és kulturális vonzerő megtekintésére nyílik lehetőség a régióban, mely a tengerentúlról érkező turisták (USA, Kanada, Kína) számára kiemelkedő vonzerő(SANTOS et al. 2019, FERNÁNDEZ GÁMEZ-SÁNCHEZ SERRANO 2019. ...
Napjaink gyorsan változó fogyasztói trendjei folyamatos megújulásra ösztönzik a turizmuságazat szereplőit. A dunai szállodahajó-turizmus a szabadidős célú turisztikai utazások feltörekvő részterülete, ugyanakkor a hosszú távon is kiemelkedő gazdasági teljesítmény fenntartásához szükség van a termékkonstrukció időszakos megújítására. Jelen tanulmány a dunai szállodahajó-turizmus alapismérveit, piaci (keresleti-kínálati) jellemzőit foglalja össze a témakörben publikált folyóiratcikkek elemzésén keresztül. Bemutatja továbbá a piacvezető vállalatok (Tauck, Avalon Waterways, Crystal Cruises, Uniworld River Cruises, Viking River Cruises, Scenic River Cruises) aktuális (2020-2022-re szóló) termékkínálatát. A kvalitatív kutatás során 326 utazási csomag áttekintésére került sor, mely rámutatott a kulturális turisztikai attrakciók termékkínálatban betöltött kiemelkedő szerepére. Az eredmények alátámasztják, hogy számos turisztikai termék (például: természeti vonzerők, egészség- és gyógyturizmus) hiányzik a jelenlegi termékkonstrukcióból, melyeknek a kínálatba történő beépítése elősegítheti a célcsoport bővítését, ami a recesszió utáni időszakban hozzájárulhat a dunai szállodahajózás gazdasági teljesítményének javulásához.

The subject of this study is the impact of hunting tourism on the development of hunting associations in the territory of the City of Leskovac in Serbia. Non-experimental model of scientific
research, survey, was applied in the paper, while the obtained results were processed by statistical data processing. Data are presented in tables and graphs. The total number of completed
questionnaires by service users was 475. The largest percentage of hunters on hunting grounds
were foreign tourists compared to domestic tourists, which accounted for 84.50% of the total
number of hunting tourists in 2017, 87.1% in 2018 .year and 89 8% in 2019. The income generated from the stay of hunters’ tourists was used by hunting associations for the purchase of
certain game species and the modernization of hunting and technical facilities. The amount
of revenue generated increased by 2.3% each year in 2018 and by 22.6% in 2019. Investments
in 2017-2019 were up 20.1% in 2018 to 38.8% in 2019, while funds earmarked for wildlife procurement were significantly higher by 3.8% in 2018, and 50% in 2019. It can be concluded that
hunting and hunting tourism must be focused on habitat conservation, environmental protection, and wildlife protection and a very important segment of the economic development of
hunting associations and the entire territory in which hunting associations operate.
... Future port locations should be located near the main points of interest [43][44][45][46]. Profit regarding dockings and taxis is of important value, not only for services such as fuel supply or garbage disposal, but also in terms of marketing local goods and offerings such as excellent food or wine [47,48]. Moreover, this is significant as cruise tourists do not stay in hotels overnight and instead spend money at tourist sites and cruise stops. ...
Podunavlje, a region located along the Danube River in Serbia, features a very rich cultural heritage with different notable periods ranging from prehistoric to medieval times. It is also a unique and valuable region with natural beauty. Our research concentrates on this area, using a case study as the methodology. The starting hypothesis is that strategic orientation to develop tourist docks for river cruises and marinas along the corridor of 588 km, at certain locations, primarily in urban centers and near the prominent archaeological sites, will form conditions for the better accessibility and presentation of priceless cultural treasures. By collecting data about various trends in the region and comparing these data with international studies, the authors support the utilization of an integrated method derived from the context of sustainable spatial planning. Such a method would support the creation of suitable conditions for the reconstruction, presentation, and development of creative tourist offerings. The urban plans that regulate these areas must observe and harmonize all aspects, especially the conditions for preserving heritage alongside the need for creating new accompanying content and events that will stimulate the economy and thereby ensure self-preservation and protection. The goal of the strategic analysis presented here is to determine which tourist and cultural offers are effective and thus should be promoted. The purpose of this study is to indicate the steps and required conditions for the implementation of suitable strategies. Apart from decision making on the strategic level and the implementation process, it is necessary to consider further impacts and investigate other possibilities to fully utilize the potential in the region.
... A total of 32% of trips are booked by tourists 14-18 months before departure, the remaining berths usually being sold out 4-6 months before sailing [55]. Reports have revealed [38,55] that tourists prefer to book voyages of more mixed composition (such as cruises on the Danube) through travel agencies to avoid any kind of omissions, their primary motivation being to seek an authentic experience [56], to immerse themselves in the adventure [57], and to explore alternative attractions [30]. Cruisers are mainly married couples or a small group of friends [31,36]. ...
Tourism in the 21st century is being re-shaped by constant changes in consumer trends. The Danube, Europe’s second-longest river, has rich potential for tourism over its whole course, and river cruises offer superb opportunities to explore. This study aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the most important characteristics of cruise tourism on the Danube. In our research, a literature review (LR) and content analysis (CA) were used to examine trends in the inland waterway cruise sector, which, despite the growing interest in the product, is still not deemed to be a part of mass tourism. Danube cruise tourism relies heavily on alternative (niche) tourism features, which satisfy both cultural and authentic tourism preferences. Currently, many elements of niche tourism are missing from the product supply, but, with a modest addition of such features, the demand for the product could increase and its economic performance in the period following the expected recession would be enhanced.

... In addition to this, previous studies confirm a tendency for visits of the Republic of Serbia by tourists from Western European countries (Armenski et al., 2011;Dwyer et al., 2014), which is in accordance with obtained results. This study aims to research differences in socio-demographic characteristics of foreign tourists in consumption of local food in the city centres Belgrade and Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. The research was conducted on a sample of 673 respondents. The results of this study point out the importance of socio-demographic variables in research of local gastronomy as a significant component of tourism product. The research included the determining of the impact of the city the tourists stayed at. The differences were examined via two-factor ANOVA analysis of variance. The obtained results indicate that there are differences between age groups, in the level of education, monthly income and countries that foreign tourists come from, whereas there is no difference between genders in relation to the perception of local gastronomy. At the same time, the findings indicate that there are no differences in the perception of local gastronomy between the cities of Novi Sad and Belgrade. The results confirm previous studies and point out the significance of socio-demographic characteristics of foreign tourists in their perception of local gastronomy and adapting it to the visitors, regardless of the city they visited.
