Superconducting Raman responses in the A 1g + B 1g geometry of (a) Hg-1201 and (b) Hg-1223 crystals at 0.4 GPa. Zoom on the frequency range of the A 1g + B 1g Raman spectra of (c) Hg-1201 and (d) Hg-1223 compounds under hydrostatic pressures. The framed frequencies mark the pristine oxygen modes (see Table I). The dotted lines are guides for the eyes.

The superconducting phase of the HgBa 2 CuO 4+δ (Hg-1201) and HgBa 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 8+δ (Hg-1223) cuprates has been investigated by Raman spectroscopy under hydrostatic pressure. Our analysis reveals that the increase of T c with pressure is slower in the Hg-1223 cuprate compared to Hg-1201 due to a charge carrier concentration imbalance accentuated b...

... A 1g + B 1g Raman superconducting responses of (UD92K) Hg-1201 and (UD132K) Hg-1223 single crystals measured inside the anvil cell at 0.4 GPa are reported in Fig. 7. We have nearly the same spectra as those of Fig. 5 but with a poorer signal-to-noise ratio and few additional parasitic phonons (at 570 and 620 cm). We see an asymmetric hump with a maximum around 400 cm in Hg-1201 which is made of two components (cf. Fig. 5). The Hg-1223 spectrum exhibits two broad peaks, one centered around 480 cm ...

The energies of hydrogenic donor impurity states in a cylindrical GaInAs/GaAs quantum dot are calculated by the plane wave method in the theoretical framework of the effective mass envelope function approximation. Under the action of hydrostatic pressure and temperature, the binding energies of the impurity in 1s and 2p\(\pm\) states are obtained,...
In this study, ground state binding energy of heavy hole magneto exciton in GaAs/In0.47Ga 0.53As cylindrical quantum well wires (CQWWs) were calculated using variational technique depending on wire size and external parameters. We can briefly state the change of binding energy with hydrostatic pressure, temperature, wire radius and external magneti...
Within the effective mass and the parabolic band approximations, the binding energy of an on-center shallow donor impurity in a \(\mathrm{GaAs}/{\mathrm{Ga}}_{1-x}{\mathrm{Al}}_{x}\mathrm{As}\) multilayered spherical quantum dot has been studied by using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The ground state energy is calculated as a function of the bar...
Lattice parameters, band-gap energies, optical transitions, and exciton properties of ZnSe at high pressures (up to 100 kbar) have been studied using a pseudo-potential method. Results are generally in good agreement with experiment at zero pressure. Adachi's expression formula for exciton binding energy and Bohr radius are adjusted giving a signif...
This study employs the finite element method based on the effective-mass approximation (EMA) to numerically investigate the behavior of impurities in multilayer cylindrical quantum dots (MLCQDs). We consider the applied hydrostatic pressure (P) in our numerical analysis. The study presents numerical results for macroscopic parameters that follow th...
