This document presents the first record of predation of the Highland Alligator Lizard, Abronia monticola (Cope, 1877) by the Resplendent Quetzal, Pharomachrus mocinno costaricensis (Cabanis, 1869). In addition, we also report the first record of mortality of Resplendent Quetzal chicks by the consumption of this lizard species in Costa Rica.
